Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Nickjhe, I'm tickled by your use of the word "accelerating", thats what AFC have said they've been doing towards commercialisation for over ten years, which is why many of us LTH are moaning about the IR/PR and jam-tomorrow narratives.
To be fair, Ian didn’t really have anything tangible to market.
Quite why we never got even a small 10kW portable unit ready and advertised to sell as remote electric vehicle charger / generator I will never know. Is anything at all happening on the Mace / Acciona news front ?!
The extreme-e solution looks quite bulky and piecemeal, coming as five? separate units {fuel cell, battery, solar panels, mystery electrolyser, mystery H2 storage} , so would no doubt be a hard sell, not that we even advertise that as a purchasable product online.
To see COP come and (almost) go without an announcement beyond “we towed a demo unit to Glasgow to show people” is as regrettable as it was predictable in my opinion.
It’s frustrating to realise that AFC investor relations will never improve it seems.
As meaningless as comparing MCAPs Haggis.
The difference being AFC are the one in your selection of companies with no meaningful turnover, and that in my opinion perfectly explains why our MCAP is where it is. Without turnover there can be no path to profitability. Without sales there can be no turnover.
Actually, I just scanned through eleven days of agenda, and there's not a lot there apart from :
'Green Hydrogen: Global vision of Low Carbon Hydrogen in Latin American and the Caribbean'
Bit disappointing, I guess Adam Bond will just be hanging around in a bar somewhere trying to strike up conversations, ha.
Shame no details of making a formal presentation in any of the COP forums...
I'm rather hoping if AFC Energy are making themselves known up in Glasgow, that we'll have a little presentation at the Global Innovation Hub, I see CEO of SNAM has been on the agenda today : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qbac9UhHLJ4
Though I've nothing to back it up with, I feel it very unlikely that any news is being 'held back' for release during COP26.
Neither do I think the UK Gov will do anything direct to support AFC Energy.
I will happily eat my words though...
It's somewhere beyond 12 weeks now (this surely counts as more than 'a few weeks') since the "operational validation and integration of ABB and AFC's systems" should have begun.
I wonder if AFCs three technicians are still working on this in Estonia?
xxxAccountant, “HUI, Linde and Peel are all serious big businesses.”
How many staff do HUI have / or how much profit do they currently make to call it a ‘big business’? I got the impression it was only Ms Binkowska running a company she only setup in May of this year.
Blimey, I'm 11% in profit after all this time! It's no wonder this morning has been a raft of sells.
This looks like it will need a little bit of a kick to get the sp over 12p,
but the upside from there is very very exciting!
Roll on December drilling...
The opportunity for this short lease to turn into something more significant is helped by
the £7m in series-A funding that Ricky (Harpreet) Sandhu has in the works, and also the
£10m loan facility that the [quite complex web of] parent companies have on offer via
charges made upon Urban Air Port Limited.
He's not short of capital to actually develop this into something quite significant!
Segedunum, thats what I think is going on too. step 1) Withhold any news, step 2) get your options RNS through, step 3) let the price dip and fill a large order or buy-in from a third party, step 4) announce buy-in / deals and profit.
This is AIM after all, one must expect these shenanigans from such a loosely controlled compliance environment.
Hopefully at least all LTH will benefit from the last step.
