So I’m realising now why it’s called death spiral finance; we’ve had two great pieces of news (planning and rig arrival) but selling by YA is now supposedly holding the sp down. It’s a good job we’ve had some positive news otherwise the sp could be even lower.

Was hoping for a bit more upward movement by now to compensate my SXX position and save me from the wife!

That’s great news but please no RNS as we know what that does to the sp! Let’s have a blue week please, pretty please.

Would they simply reissue it or would they update the documentation?

That RNS came out so quickly it must have been written before the final whistle even blew; good job they didn't need to rip it up!

Discussed with my best friend who works fir a local authority. His view was that with all contentious planning applications the local political aspects will override planning officer recommendations and technical responses. The recommendation is good but he advises to watch the webcast and you’ll generally know within minutes which way it will go. Fingers crossed it is a yes.

The herd will start moving in next week in anticipation of the planning; likely to be traders who will sell out for a small profit on the back of which the sp will fall but thereafter I expect a steady rise as events unfold and the plans are delivered. All of this will make for an interesting couple of weeks.

Those rig like structures on the back of the Baldwin’s vehicle are part of a crane.

The site approach has also been resurfaced and prepared ready to receive the rig and associated vehicles so it is imminent.

That's a classic market maker signal; code 270 = drilling rig approaching.

Not invested here but when I started investing (only in October 2018) this was one of the shares that caught my eye, like a few others, and I've followed it ever since in order to prove my ability to pick good shares (so far with this one I would be break even). I think the drop can be partially explained because there are still inconsistencies in the efficacy of the drug which is clearly impacted by the dosing and more work on the dosing is required. The inconsistencies are not helped by, and may even be caused by, the test / protocol (clinical trial protocol), as per the following from the RNS:

"The evaluation of the response after two injections was compromised by the design of the experiment, where blood samples were taken too soon after the second injection. However, the results did indicate a trend towards the appearance of OVA antibodies in these tests as well."

I really hope this does well as it will validate my methodology for picking shares.

waynesmith - I'm at an average of 1.6 and got a little excited yesterday when the sp touched 1.15 - only to realise I had misread my numbers! At least I enjoyed to euphoria whilst it lasted.

True, but what they will have is much more expertise, far better tools to assess the investment risks and a much greater knowledge of what is going on in the bonds market and the likelihood of the market recovering.

Plus many more; just hope this time this is it! My only worry is once we get a bit of a rise there will be a lot of sellers getting out and taking some profit having endured a rather stressful ride on the UKOG express!

Looking at the share chart today and the sudden drops in SP I suspect more news is imminent and something has leaked out. If your of a ramping nature then you would say it is the MMs shaking shares from the weak so the MMs can mop them up. If your of a de-ramping nature you'd say bad news has leaked and those in the know are bailing out to minimise any losses!

Only time will tell what the cause is!

Toughiv, I was in your frame of mind the last time the shares were diluted and voiced my opinion on here and also in an email to UKOG. However, whilst I have stuck it out and currently sit on a paper loss of over 50%, I feel differently about this RNS. The game plan is becoming very clear and SS has clearly been playing his cards close to his chest. The RNS does talk about shares being issued and I'm sure somebody clever than myself will come along shortly with a calculation that shows how the level of any potential share dilution is partly (or even mostly) offset by the increased revenues from oil sales over the coming years.

I'm sitting tight with this one; I can't afford to sell now anyway as I'm also invested in SXX and well under after yesterdays news so god help me when the wife and I review the bank account at the end of the month!

Let’s hope not; if UKOG buy it then funds would no doubt be raised via issuing more shares. At this current low price it’s the last thing we need.
