The WHO report that globally coronavirus cases are increasing . In my opinion it’s obvious that on a global scale we haven’t passed the peak yet.

This sp seems to have increased on national / EU potential but globally there will be demand for much more testing. Therefore there still huge potential here for a second peak in the sp.

They can, and do, sell it in France it just that it won’t get reimbursed. We have the same situation here in the pharma industry where NICE look at cost / benefit before approving a drug for reimbursement.

Look at the recent history of FRC enforcement; it seems PwC and KPMG feature quite heavily and the fines against the audit companies and individual employees are significant; in all cases the FRC investigation is of the audit company and their failings and not the companies they have audited.

The purpose of a vaccine is to prevent you getting the virus; it isn't a therapeutic that you use to treat the symptoms or the virus once infected but to prevent infection. A vaccine is a long way off and there are 66million people in the UK so even if you only inoculated half of those that's 30 million doses and there simply isn't the infrastructure to manage that right now (especially not on top of the seasonal flu vaccines as well). Testing is here to stay but not for the purpose of determining who needs a vaccine but to prevent the spread and manage outbreaks on either a local, national or international basis.

Bladey, in this sector all of the players try to undercut each other and pricing jobs and new contracts is a race to the bottom and results in very low margins.

...the damage was done Thursday and this morning hasn't been as bad as expected; panic sells Thursday without time to understand the RNS and now after a few days to digest it the panic has not spread much further.

Wonder if some good news has been leaked? Tomorrow morning will tell.
