True unless you are a company with a CEO who issues new shares at every opportunity. The next RNS won’t be to celebrate the 100,000 barrel of oil or the 500th tanker but more likely to celebrate the 10 billionth share issued!

Which leader board though?

Invested for well over 12 months now, bought in at 1.68 and then again at lower prices. Now losing patience having watched the value of my investment decline constantly to the point that selling and realising the loss is not an option and I have no choice but to sit it out whatever the end result may be (eternal optimist maybe?)

I'm not deramping but simply annoyed with how this is going and I becoming more and more convinced this is now a lifestyle company. SS is not the man for the job if this is to be a true onshore oiler meeting its historical claims of "Gatwick Gusher" etc!

I'll ask again - is SS the man for the job?

- Does the 3 month sp trend show he is doing a good job; if that was a metric against which I was measured my boss would be having a frank and honest conversation with me!
- Have you noticed how all of these 3% falls in sp are starting to add up?
- Does SS not look at, or even care, about the share price?
- Why the radio silence; is SS afraid of telling us something?
- The so called "derampers" succeed because there is sufficient ammunition (e.g. water problem, lack of news) to support whatever their cause is. Conversely the so called "rampers" can only really succeed when good news is flowing (which it isn't). That is if you believe that a few people posting on here can really influence the share price.
- SS is the only person that can really influence the sp by his actions, communication, PR and results. Whilst he may well be a good geologist are we really sure he is the right man to lead the business? What do the results tell us?
- Is it time for SS to step aside and let somebody else take care of the business side of things?

Will the Skills and Experience section be updated to reflect the sentiment of this board?

This AAL offer makes CFs last purchase of £10k worth of shares at 4p look like a very good buy now; nice little profit (~ 25%) at levels that many PIs probably could have invested! Was that the message he was trying to send?

I'm currently negative about this share (constant dilution, sp in constant decline) and I'm only holding as the sp is so far below my average that I really don't want to sell now. If I'm still invested when the CPR is issued then I will review my position accordingly and a lot could happen between now and then.

They either mean at least you know what your shares are going to be worth or they actually intended to use the word “stakeholders”.

SS could have issued £600,000 worth of shares to an intermediary as an introduction fee to secure a loan from the Qatari Investment Fund like Lekoil did only to find out the intermediary was a bunch of fraudsters!

Closing price was 0.8 and I suspect this will open 6% down in the morning because there seems to be a bit of a pattern. I was tempted to sell on one of the 6% peaks today with the hope of buying tomorrow at a lower price.

It’s not casting shade it’s a PI who is well under starting to wonder if SS is the man for the job and whether or not my investment is in safe hands. Don’t point the finance decisions at the FD; at the end of the day SS is the CEO and ultimately the buck stops with him as he has the final say.

Do we still feel SS is the man for the job; is it a case of better the devil you know or do we think we might be better of with a change of leadership?

For me given that all of the previous positive news (rig arrival, planning permission, , successful drill, hitting the sweet spot, core dripping with oil, etc. etc.) resulted in the sp falling I am beginning to think that SS isn't the man for the job and the city have little to no confidence in UKOG.

What do others think?

I don't think a 1 million share buy is even noteworthy anymore in the grand scheme of things considering shares in issue and current SP.

Given the total shares issued following the placing and the number of placing shares I calculate that the Institutional Investor will hold 3.37% of the total share holding. According to the guidance that would require a TR1 to be issued so we will at least find out who the Institutional Investor is; could it swing the SP at all? What message would it send if it was a significant and highly successful Institutional Investor?
