Surely it is right that many hundreds of millions of public money is skimmed off. In secret meetings the details of even who was in these meetings is refused.

I am apparently one of the many many plebs governed by supremely arrogant, entitled folk for whom the normal rules do not apply. I would love them to canvas me in the street I think there would be an awful lot of nervous guffaws as they hastily ran away if they asked me for continued support. Utter disgrace.

LTH know Market confidence in SNG was massively dented by the fantastic stated efficacy of vaccines. The Sp was hammered and has remained under pressure as all it seemed we needed to do was get enough vaccines in enough arms and game over for the virus.

Now Israel one of most effectively vaccinated nations who appeared to be romping back to normality are bringing in increasing restrictions.

Then we have France where suddenly far more stringent measures have been set by the UK due to the prominence of the good old South African Beta variant. Reports in the press increasing evidence it can evade the AstraZeneca jab by making it around 10 % effective. But wait that isn’t anywhere like as effective as all the info we’ve had before.

Then as if to underline the real state of play the double jabbed Health Secretary comes down with it.

I remember the blond lady Prof from Edinburgh voicing serious concerns a few weeks back saying it was one big risky experiment.
Prof Whitty also going off message saying it could all go very wrong very quickly.

When the experts are worried it’s a bit like watching worried cabin crew, it’s probably a good marker that all is not under control.

I am going to savour every available moment enjoying the company of family & close friends in the sunshine. Hoping I will wake up soon to find SNG has lift off.

The financial rewards are humongous and all you need is a lack of integrity and the vast resources to concoct a favourable narrative.
These are soulless conglomerates who will happily charge many thousand per cent mark ups to the NHS. These are not benevolent guardian angels but more very sharp toothed predators fuelled by avarice. It had been exposed so many times and that’s the reality folks.

I think I understand the rationale of taking the initial impact in the summer and with umpteen million operations/ procedures delayed eventually we have to move forward.

But we need more measures in place to shore up the NHS which has many thousands of unfilled jobs which will only worsen as those left get sick or crumble under the pressure.

Enjoying the sunshine and greater freedoms so few are thinking we are probably ambling towards utter carnage.
Or indeed the folk who will have to face it again.

As with others with close family members who will be called upon to do the impossible, I am looking further than ‘Freedom Day’ with growing concern.
