I was reading a SKY news article earlier where experts were basically saying more research and confirmation was necessary but due to widespread transmissibility being reported in the fully vaccinated, then Herd Immunity would appear to be unobtainable. It concluded this was “BIG NEWS”. I will try and find the link.

Doc, Dr Fauci seems to get visibly excited whenever he talks about them. Consideration of the cost and medical infrastructure required seem not to dampen his excitement. So with a heavy heart hedged my bets as he seems hell bent on promoting them.

At the start I can remember so many people comfortable in their belief that viruses weaken over time and so will this one and just fizzle out. So not really a problem. Well it isn’t and most probably won’t.

So maybe this calls for a greater sense of urgency and readiness for what is foreseeable?

Further upticks could cause unimaginable carnage. When action is taken it will be like the months of India warnings that fell on deaf ears, way too little way too late.
Maybe stockpiling treatments and preparing for this escalating again should be the absolute urgent priority or everything will be on hold in the enforced mother of all lockdowns. Saying again we ‘we didn’t know ‘until it is way too late just won’t wash.
