The elephant in the room is the NHS is in essence an incredible Social concept where everybody supports a service in the knowledge that one day they or those close to them will need it.

Unfortunately what has increasingly crept in is the opportunity to turn parts of it into a vast cash cow. This is destroying such an amazing service and we don’t have to look further than the USA to see where. we are heading.

They have just gone to the wrong place to find the money. Start with a 106 billion rail link and and a few hundred million on a stupid yacht. There are obscene levels of wealth held by a few. Maybe start there with a few per cent that would make no material difference to their lives rather than hamstringing the younger generation. I am sure Mike would agree.

Some people rate Chuck Norris but I think Buck Forris is a much better Clown.

As discussed before it is a very well established tactic by big Pharma to take control of a competitor by sitting on it.

This may be simply by making an offer they can’t refuse or a proxy buy out. Not saying this happening here but when the gains are potentially humongous and no explanation is forthcoming it does leave a lot of sensible questions unanswered.

Early on I read about the successful Prophylactic use of IFN in a Chinese hospital I think, where staff were given it, then it is being championed in Cuba which lead to the South African military making a substantial order but what made me take notice was the study into a cohort of MS sufferers who were not getting sick who it turned out had been regularly receiving IFN as part of their treatment.

I think the actual you were making is that government can’t play the vaccination card twice. But you are also acknowledging they are ordering, buying, ‘stockpiling’ many millions of extra vaccinations.

So I return to my point no matter what we wish or hope will happen with treatments what they are actually doing is continuing to focus on vaccination. That is the absolute reality, unless you can point to evidence that debunks what they continue to champion and spend our money on.

Dibs61 as an investor here too I would obviously like the strategy to evolve with a greater focus on treatments for obvious reasons.

From memory I thought the Pfizer offering could only be stored for around a month and then only at a very cold temperature.

35 million dozes I think it was, doesn’t seem feasible to stockpile so the strategy seems to be to stick it in arms and carry on as before.
