Why?

Putting 250 million in to a company that has already spent at least 630 million in.

Milo. Or the sceptic view is that this financially astute business women spotted an opportunity to own a potential mine for 250 million by cf not getting stage 2 finance.

Deep joy. Firstly I got in once stage 1 was secured. So the risks were lowered. Now I see the risks are currently.greater for me.
I have never bought into the notion of not selling at a loss. I sell when I feel I should sell. Wether that be profit or loss. By selling when I felt I should, I can now buy a lot more shares than if I had remained a holder.

I cannot believe people are holding when the goalposts have clearly shifted. This isn’t a football club where you remain loyal no matter what. It’s money. It was clearly going to drop. No amount of LTH top ups was going to stop it. It will overshoot the real low. The question is what is the real worth currently and when is the time to get back in.

It depends on the price they dilute at. If 25p then probably 22p. If 20p then evidence suggests 16.75p. Maybe as we don’t need as much, then it might just go to the price we dilute at. I would probably prefer straight dilution, because if we start with the cbs etc, then we are second guessing the shorts etc for more time to come.

Avocet. I am not buying into that at the moment and I am clearly not the only one. Believe me I wish I was. In the good days not so long ago. I would dare look 3 years ahead and see early retirement in my grasps. Now I am down on my luck. Hey ho.

I have no idea. I ask myself if the company in light of what is going on, is worth over £1 billion. I think we can be flippant and think a billion is not a lot.
Look at some big famous companies who are not valued at a billion.
Sure the potential is obviously there. The poly looks marketable but we have no money. And getting the money might come at a huge cost to the private investor.

Takeover? Look at what happens in the Gina deal if we cannot get stage 2 sorted. We cannot get stage 2 sorted until we show we raise the extra money needed.

Stokey. Then I will come in. Just not coming in until it’s all sorted. Yes I might pay a premium but I might be able to buy in on the morning of the news below what I sold for. Who knows. Just lowering my risk if we do need to dilute.

Causual. I will definitely be in, but not until the dilution, however it will be dressed up, is out of the way, and the sp has reacted accordingly.

Myo it was 28.3p. It was not a tirade. It was a complete shifting off the goalposts. It was not a case of me selling on a whim, and going all negative because of selling. The news was awful and as yet we have no idea of the effects the raising off the extra funds will have. We are still non the wiser the effect the cbs are having left over from stage 1.
We can use maths rightly or wrongly until the cows come home. The bottom line is that the money men want to make more easy money in here and it is, as always, at the expense of us small players.
Now I don’t feel lucky selling at 28.3p, and I didn’t panic when I saw it rise to 30 p plus on the back of the Torp/Gina money, because the threat of dilution is real and it I don’t like it.

GK. No I won’t be buying until we find out what is happening regarding raising the additional monies needed. I still read the board and monitor the sp.
I just happened upon milos post and it reminded me how much stick I got for saying, what he wished he has done. It got me to thinking who is the right person to listen too. A LTH who kept saying the sp would be back at 38p within a few days and the room loved him, or someone who says what the investor doesn’t want to hear, so will just attack them.

Avocet. Who is guessing? Or presenting anything other than fact. Surely good investing is the ability to respond to changes. I know what isn’t good investing, burying ones head in the sand and thinking the news of extra funds needed didn’t change the fundamentals.

And vin. I put my my money where my mouth was, the very day that news dropped. I am sure others will verify that.

Vin it’s not hindsight. When a company say they need another 4-600 million dollars and that cannot be raised via debt, then it’s pretty obvious that is bad news. When we all thought we would have stage 2 finances wrapped up by November and then that got put back to q1 2019, and we need to show we can raise the extra half billion. Again bad news.
When Gina bought and it was headlined she had come to save us. That was known news. Why am I using hindsight.

Furthermore. I take no satisfaction from the sp dropping. I much preferred the days when we were rising everyday. Everyone was happy. I am not happy now because the dream is on hold. I know I will ultimately be a sxx share holder for years to come, but have lowered my risk. I still hold in my sipp. I forget I have them most days in there.

Milo. Those who thought the sp would slide after the extra 4-600 million needed news hit, were shot down in flames. Told they were deramping. It’s wasn’t deramping. It’s was merely taking the new information we had and deciding short term to medium term, wether that would have a negative impact on the sp. It was always going to have a negative effect and as the share price history shows, it was clear that any Torp news was only ever going to cause a short term spike. Money talks and as yet the pi has no clue as to how the money will be raised. As such I am prepared to wait until such time as there is a clearer picture of who is ultimately going to pay for the extra monies needed.
