Nice rise though no where near enough to get me excited as it hardly moves my stock value. Anyone know why or will it just be a blip that will be cashed in by the traders by the end of the day as per the norm.

Yes those are my feelings too but very much gut feelings...it could go either way still. I'm not sure what's going to move this share up...a lot of their investments gained yesterday and today Cizzle, Cornerstone up 10% today, Mode back up this week...but still Vela languishes.

What are the advantages/disadvantages that people here see if the shareholders vote for consolidation. The value of the company stays the same but instead of holding millions of shares we hold thousands. It had to happen is my opinion for the company to be attractive to investors because the share price will only ever be a fraction of a penny stock staying with billions of shares available...those dreams of being millionaires if the share price went to £1 have long receded and could never happen unless the company was valued as one of the biggest companies in the world... unlikely.
I have held Vela for quite a while and am so far down it's now a joke to me but I am confident it will make me a few quid one day ( I have been in profit once so it could happen again).

I imagine you'll be cashing out when you've got your sell price then. I've been underwater so long on this it's past a joke...Vela is like a yo-yo but on a very short string...it goes up and down but not enough anymore to make it fun

That doesn't seem such a good investment then...I don't see much of the investments have been that good for an investment company...too much has been resting on too little

So Modes SP rose 10% today but Vela doesn't even flinch. Not sure what will move it up.

This is usually a solid rising share which I've held for a while now and very happy with it but 2 days before results day it seems to be slipping. Does any one have any notion why...are there any rumours that there's something nasty about to be revealed on Thursday?
I won't be selling but I'm wondering whether to topslice a bit of profit if it's looking iffy...shame to waste it.

So the SP drops further. I'm not sure what can pull this share out if it's downward trajectory.

I do feel for the trend jumpers though who bought in yesterday at .15 as it looked like a rocket to the moon...but that's not really a good investment tactic
