Such an enormous spread that I wouldn't want to be anyone buying hoping they were going to make a quick buck today. Maybe that's a good thing though to keep the 10% profiteers off and build this up....only another few hundred percent rise to go till I'm back in profit along with the other LTHers

If it kept up at this pace then I might see a profit before Xmas... it's amazing the excitement that it might make 2p. I remember when there was panic when it dropped from its 25p high but some people on here were saying "don't worry it can't drop below 7p there are too many big investors involved"

Don't expect immediate results...months rather than hours...but that's my policy with all my portfolio...could be long wait with some of the dogs I've bought though... but ipf is always a winner. But ssssh keep it quiet.

As I said previously this share has to be traded very patiently and accept there might be times of great loss...but it has always come back for me and I always keep faith in it...I just need to learn to time my buys a little better but I'm very happy with my gains over the last couple of years. I wish I'd had the guts to put all my money in it...but I keep increasing my investment every buy.

I'm 2 years in on this and have only lost. I remember the heady days when the SP was falling to what looked like sub 7p but people on here ( and they're still here) saying no way would it fall that far because the BOD had too much invested in it....and then came the CLN and it dropped like a stone and now there is still optimism that it might get above 2p...which to recent newcomers seems like a great return. I won't be buying anymore...but not will I sell... thankfully I have a diverse portfolio so can take a couple of hits from these type of punts...rose who have gone all in I feel for.

Wow I keep topping up and it keeps dropping... it's no longer tempting me...sit and hold now and write it off or it's a retirement pot

I guess the market wasn't too impressed. If only the typing that was spent over the weekend on here was transferred into the SP we'd all be rich... it's going to take an awful lot more to get me back in profit.

Lordsutch...aren't they the same thing? Anyway if people want to think he has some inside knowledge then it's up to them. I could say don't buy this share or you'll end up as down on it as I am but no one should listen to me either. If he truly had inside knowledge he'd be an absolute idiot to post it publicly...as he could be committing a criminal offence and basically saying come and get me.... I'm pretty sure lse wouldn't want to be in contempt by not supplying his details to the relevant authorities.

I don't think if you've had them for 12 years, and kept them, you'll have made much on the SP...a few dividends along the way though. As you see today it is very volatile and that's what I play. The shares were, according to the RNS Grant of shares under The IPF Performance Share Plan ("PSP") so yes he didn't buy them...not that that's a negative thing particularly...in fact to me it seems positive that the share is performing well...but that's just my take on it.

I have been buying and selling ipf for a couple of years now and have made a tidy profit from it.... sometimes I've had to wait a few weeks as it languishes and I felt it was never coming back but it always has. I wouldn't keep it for a long time as it's a very volatile share but I always come back to it and increase my holding each time and increase my profits each time. Great fun watching it. I'm down about 15% at the moment on it...but I've been down 50% + before and I've always made on it. It's a sleeper share that gets none of the hysteria like some other shares on these boards and doesn't seem to attract wild speculation and idiots on this board.

If people were banned for every wrong prediction of thus share there wouldn't be anyone left in here. If anyone acts on anything that anyone says in this group then they shouldn't really be buying shares at all. That goes for the whole of lse.co.uk.

I've been invested in cryptos for a few years now but I would not have jumped on the Mode bandwagon...the BOD seem to be following the herd with that one and I thought they were interested in disruptive technology not what everyone else is buying.

The rise is great but the spread on this share is huge which means there's not much faith in it staying up. I topped up and bought more shares last week but still no profit on those never mind the other millions I've bought before and held for 18 months

As I said I've held Vela for a while now...well about 18 months...and I've seen it go down and down. I think it's as low as it will get now. I know no more than anyone else...which is nothing. I just thought I had a bit is spare cash in my account so I thought I could lower my average down and makes my losses look a bit better...though of course it could still drop further but I doubt it on chart evidence.

The SP seems to have full support at 0.03 so should be safe

I know let's hope that doesn't look like too much to pay in a few days
