I spoke too soon now it's jumped back up to where it was.

At least with the price so low another near 10% drop doesn't make much difference...though it needs more now to rise of course. Sub 0.01 I wonder. And this on Igraine news.

Yes Bouncersdream exactly my sentiments...this is my last AIM level share which I've written off...all my portfolio is being moved to boring FTSE 250 shares... as you say they nearly all come back even when down and there's enough scope to keep things entertaining enough...I've made a few quid on some big caps in the last year or 2 but lost the same on dogs like Vela and Hemogenyx.

If you're stalking me that much Hector ( not weird at all) you'll know I only post on this board...all my other shares manage themselves but this one needs constant feeding to keep me interested. It's true not much positivity comes from me over Vela having seen so many false dawn's and I'm just amazed at how many people seem to be slipping into the same moneytrap I too feel in all those years ago. But ok "yeah go Vela"

I think it's more likely all the people trying to make a quick buck by day trading on this share....there seems the be a lot of people who need to do a bit more research in share trading around.

I can buy and sell on HL....not that I would buy anymore VELA...be careful of the spread if you think you're going to make money on day trading with this share

Nothing... it's just a conspiracy theory

I don't want to be that guy but I've seen this happen too many times with VELA over the years I've held. The quick rise followed by the quick descent. P and Ds all the way but there's always such belief in this share that defies logic. I doubt anyone made much from it as the spread was massive and the sell price hardly moved - certainly on HL.

According to the Twitter feed posted earlier today here the person bought 200m shares because "Close to 6M value in their investment portfolio.

Market cap less than 6M"

So maybe it's just word got out.

If you look at the true current price (at 11.14 am) it's where it was a month ago. Something made it jump and it wasn't news

Yes JoeBloggs but look how much that is worth now. I'm still a lot down on this and have been averaging down over the last 2 years but I had kind of parked this share and ignored it in the hope something might happen... let's see

Watch for the big cash in later. The spread on HL is still 25% though so could be more than a p& d or people will be losing... but there's a lot of fools about
