book5 over on advfn heard a rumour direct from villagers at La India some time ago that a second hand mill was coming from Guatemala, I've had an internet trawl and the only one I can see that may be available from there is ex Goldcorp and their Marlin mine. It's mere speculation but you never know.

I was given to understand that RM was not a huge fan of tolling CNR production. I got the impression he didn't think it was profitable enough. Personally I'm a massive fan of early production, however it comes as it'll fund a second hand mill from cashflow, even if the deal is not perfect. In the longer term it wont matter.

Possible, but my own guess is he's greedy, his sale strongly suggests to me that a toll milling deal is sooner rather than later and land acquisition at La India will also be soon.

WG, more of a gut feeling than anything specific, if you watch back Mark over recent weeks and months, he's never been so confident as he is now. Incidentally, book5 on advfn is someone to follow, what they say appears to be proving pretty accurate through time. The fact that JM is buying helps my thought process as well, even allowing for the naysayers that it's only coppers for him, why bother if you're not convinced by the story or at the very least it's a decent punt.

Having spent some of the long weekend watching and reading recent presentations from Mark and the more I think about progress and what is being stated publicly the more convinced I become that we will end up with both a toll deal (Mestiza) and a second hand plant. As to timescale, well these have slipped before with CNR but I'm kind of hopeful that 2020 is our year.
As a side issue I'm virtually 100% sure that the La India land will be tied up very soon indeed.

It didn't fit with B2's strategy at the time, in fact we fell out with them for a period but that's all water under the bridge. Rest assured the asset(s) today and the work we've done on them bear little resemblance to a decade ago.

It' worth noting, like the rest of us he will want the best price. Doesn't matter how much cash you have to spend, in this share availability of large numbers without moving the price is an issue. It's naive to think that just because he can buy 500,000 shares or whatever that so many are available at the price he wants when he wants them. That's why he takes part in private placings - only way to get volume.

There's nothing better for the market to see than an insider who just keeps on buying, even small numbers of shares.

I'm not a betting man but I'd think we could well be tolling within 12 months. Only proviso is that CNR/Calibre can do a deal on the split that works for both, the concept of tolling for Calibre and CNR is a no-brainer, at least for a period of time.

In terms of what we know and when it will happen that's all pretty much baked in the cake (even if not reflected yet in sp), the outlier is a bid coming out of nowhere, despite what Mark says about this, frankly I don't believe him, if the price is right he will recommend a sale, secondly a toll deal - I think this will happen, whilst it's been mentioned many time it has been played down, again I don't believe him.

According to book5 over on advfn who apparently has connection in Nicaragua, there are only 3 remaining families left to sell their land at La India. If that is accurate, it wont be too long to get to 100%.
