The deal agreed was good and for any other company the sp would have moved up much higher on that JV news.

Unfortunately there are many legacy issues here and many still carry the scars of broken promises, missed targets and deadlines. I suspect many want to now 'see the money' before trusting that the great potential will turn into significant income. In short,' we'll believe it when we see it'.

I'm reasonably confident - so my 4-6p prediction in 2 years is now a bit higher at 5-7p

Yes agreed. But we arnt continuing in the same vein as last year. Total monthly co costs are now circa £50K a month. Alluvial income is now broadly that.

those results were end of 2018. We are broadly break even now with increase in alluvial income due in July.

Yes they could, and I hope they don;t.

I have done a few back of fag calcs and the JV should see the sp reach more than 4.5p . I think 6p is a reasonable expectation late next year. I think it more likely than not that MMP will buy at $20M though. CB has done a good deal on JV so surprised he also gave them the circa $20M bargain offer.

If this company hadnt had so many legacy issues sp would have been over 2p today. I suspect it will be over 3p by end of the year....assuming MMP havnt bought FB before then!

'best broker' has been a question that has been asked many times on Aim. The two brokers that seem to get good reviews are X-O and IG.

I have been using X-O for many years (since they started) and would recommend them . I often see posts saying 'Can't buy' 'Gone to N/T for those that use other brokers but I have always been able to buy when others have posted that - in large amounts as well.

I have never used IG but the feed back is that they are more sophisticated than x-o which only offers a very basic service (that's all I need). Navigation and application is easy - even for someone like me! I think one issues was that you need to send and email / phone to transfer money out rather that doing is on line. If its very basic and simple broker platform you need than x-o maybe the one for you.

You may which to check the websites on both of these brokers to see what they offer and which suits your needs best.

1. Fair play to CB for the update. His comms are not his strong point so at least he is improving on that aspect.

2. The RNS was fine as updates go, but I see these as ‘potential’ RNS that does not give us substantial and material news.

With these RNSs usually the SP will rise quickly then retrace to pre RNS price as it did with the news of the two Zambia projects. I think we will be back to circa 0.7p ASK in next 2 weeks assuming no more news this month.

when we get the hard rock news it will rerate and a new, much higher, base will be achieved.

It may now start to drift down slightly as probably not much news for at least 6 weeks. In addition, although the results were not as bad as some thought they would be (hence buys) - now dust has settled some may take stock and think they wern;t great either esp as we had much higher processing.

Probably start to tick-up again mid june prior to results and poss hard rock news.

That doesnt mean I don't think it wont all happen, but probably not consistent with CB's time scales and predictions.

I've said 4 to 6p is my prediction in 2 to 3 years. I'm still here because I think that is likely. But probably not in the way CB has predicted re news flow and events.

If all of that was in the public realm some of it must have been buried very deep ! Para 2 and 3 content I had never heard or seen mentioned before. Even so, disseminating all that through more conventional channels and moreover a wider audience may have helped.

Many thanks for that info. Very informative. Explains a few things.

The 20Kg per month = xtract overall profitable is interesting. We have never averaged that over the last year so not sure how CB could make the claim we are overall profitable - as he has done a few times over many months..

You asked LW yesterday what constructive suggestions could he offer to increase the shareholder value here? I think CB communicating better would be one and if he had done a pod cast / vox interview with all that on it, rather than feeding it through one shareholder, he may have reassured a wider audience.

Future looks, potentially at least, very bright!

Thanks for your feed back from show. It did temper my expectations, and the results were broadly what I expected after the brief. Even though I was correct that the results would be better than last year :)

In your chat with him, did he explicitly say that Sino Mk2 had definitely started the 200tph 24/7 from 1 Feb? I ask that as you said CB mentioned 15g/t grades. Interesting if you plug in those grades that CB mentioned against a typical one plant production of 14 hours a day average for all of 13 weeks you get exactly the 40kg results we got.

Be good to know that CB has explicitly said and confirmed that Sino MK2 are now working 200tph 24/7 and there has not been any delay.

Talking about strange, what worries me very very slightly is that in the investor show presentation and in todays RNS, there has not been any mention of sino Mk2 ramping up production tonnage. I would have thought CB would want to celebrate this success and at least acknowledge it.

I hope one of the reasons for the poor results is that Sino Mk2 havnt yet started the 200 tph 24/7.

They almost certainly have, but it would have been nice, and expected, for CB to have confirmed this at the investor show or in the RNS.

CB does have form in forgetting to inform shareholders of problems at the time - like Moz Gold.

May be others have noticed this but we have received a substantially higher increase in local Gold price this quarter. It can't be down to the higher global POG as this is not higher now than in previous quarters - even lower now against some other quarters.

Very strange and very welcome. Assuming i'm correct.

1.Assuming sino Mk2 did start 200 tph 24/7 on 1 Feb

2. Assuming, very conservatively, they were working 12 hours a day prior to this.

Tonnes processed

1. 286,000 (Contract minimum) for 8.5 weeks

2. 75,000 (at very low 12 hours a day for 4.5 weeks prior to 1 Feb)

Total 361,000 for the quarter.

40.2KG = Average grade of 0.11g/t (Obviously less if tonnes processed was actually higher)

I did a post in mid jan reverse calculating the Gold processed against supposed 0.5 g/t and came to the conclusion that we were not getting anything like 0.5g/t over 2018.

We had probably been getting 0.20g/t to 0.25g/t on average for 2018. This quarter was unusually low (imho).

Hopefully grades will be a lot better next quarter.

Sorry, I wasn't clear. When I said news I meant substantial news such as an agreement.

Yes he will no doubt mention hard rock, but I don't think he will announce a firm decision re agreement etc. He may say ..things are progressing well and I am confident a decision will be made by end of Q3 !
