The tax is simple, if you are a higher rate tax payer.
Sell on re-rate when dividend is announced via RNS, if you dont formally take the dividend once its all finalised but sell on the RNS announcing the dividend, you only need to pay CGT.
Once sold, wait till dividend is paid, like a few weeks after RNS, share will drop back based on EUA v2 asset value the market gives, if you want buy shares in EUA v2 when this happens, you will have pocketed 95% of the "significant" divi value, liable for CGT and rebought EUA v2 shares if you like. You would not have to pay Dividend tax at a higher rate in this scenario as you wouldnt have taken the dividend.
