Silly me for not seeing it as a positive. And how refreshing to have a forum poster tell me that a 15 percent holding has already been sold. Who needs regulatory news when a random ramper already has the knowledge.

Long term investors are going to make a lot of money here IMO.

I would like to see cash raised for future expansion while coins are held in treasury to sell way above current value.
If BTC is $20000 next year, using coins to fund the company today (or in the short term) will effectively be equivalent to spending £2 for every £1 of cost. Far cheaper to raise sterling for expansion.
Great for long termers, but could leave short termers locked in for a little longer than they may like.

It comes to something when you hold a position in a Company and yet you find yourself posting comments on a forum likely to put potential investors off buying at the current time.
I rarely become irritated by a Company. But Dev Clever has - for me - become the exception.
As low as the price is, it ceases to be attractive until we see some numbers on contracts and financials.

One slight problem:

Mid-july is when the agreed lock-in period ends. Original 1p investors (the so-called friends and family of Chris Jeffries) are permitted to sell on the open market. In fact, Chris Jeffries is part of that group.

I think they've done the right thing. That money was doing nothing.
And, maybe they wont dilute etc. But today's RNS brings the possibility into play.

Excellent potential. But they will require money. I've been involved in this industry for years. The very moment you think its straight-forward and guaranteed it turns upside down.

You're assuming BTC price remains constant. Argo cannot afford to take that chance.
Argo have spent all their money. FACT
Key element of bitcoin mining to control timing of when you sell tokens. FACT

ARB has huge potential. Just a good idea to consider possible outcome based on changing circumstances. It's too easy sometimes to only see a green light and fear missing out.

Argo business model is two-fold. Profit/loss per month from mining AND growth/depreciation of tokens held in treasury.

Argo can control the second element by timing when they sell. If BTC dropped in price, Argo can hold tokens for months or years to maximise on future price. This is what they've been doing thus far.

So, it's inconceivable - and blows their strategy - to use mined coins as they mine them to fund the business.

Therefore, debt or share placing is coming in my opinion.

So, spent all the money. They're going to want to spend more. They wont want to rely on mined coined as cashflow because it potentially undermines financial strategy. They'll need to pick their moment to sell treasury coins.
Expect lots of news in coming weeks to bolster price.
Dilution coming. And who would be be the likely investor?
Don't buy on the spikes. Get your timing right for maximum profit.

This share has become a sitting duck for negative sentiment and de-ramping due to lack of financials since IPO and what some may consider poor management of news flow.

The negative commentators aren't acting as a service to the community. As per usual they are riddled with agenda. They'll bleat on while a news vacuum exists.

With any company, the commentators - good or bad - will be answered in time.

If DEV Clever needed a lesson in the significance of sentiment, tangibles and news flow they've been served it.
