There's a time to trade and a time to invest.
Ultimately it's about maximising profit and derisking.
Ive bought and sold ITX about 4 or 5 times since April 2018. I believe in this company but i cannot ignore how private investors roll in on mass and pump the stock to a spike. Currently - and in the past - it made sense to sell during price overheating. When i see 20+ people who suddenly appear screaming silly multiples without significant company news as the price hikes i know its time to take profit.
There will come a time IMO when ITX grows beyond current market cap and gains price strength. It's at that point i will take a long term position and scale IN.
It's impossible to make the right call everytime. Each individual has a different approach.
I hope ITX march forward (as i expect they will) whether i happen to be onboard or not.
If price calms this week i may scale back in. I think you'll find buyers will be looking for a position in prep for news. You could buy at a price of 2.34 this afternoon which i think is attractive.

You can't expect one third of the company to be sold amongst multiple new investors without there being a few ripples as we move forward. Not all will want to hang around. Ideally, we want sticky hands.
ITX needs to improve Market Cap to catch the eye of some of the fund managers. It's coming.

The price, as i suggested, is actually coming down. It got a little overheated. Shares go up or down is a zig-zag.
It's cooled off a little bit. Plenty of time to see Itaconix set off fireworks.
As for Spreadex: no, they're not going to do ITX any favours. Holding as CFD.
Ultimately, doesn't change the direction ITX will take. Let them make their money. Holders, buying in now, tomorrow, yesterday (high or low) will win in the end. IMO.

News about CFO was IMO excellent news. Markets tend not to like CFO changes but this one is different IMO. Also, she purchased at 1.1p recently.

I think what he meant to say was "i dislike Dev so much that I wish the share price was collapsing so I could buy and promote".

Wow! So much reach. What a pity the who's who isnt a material element of the balance sheet.
Thank goodness he's not ripping money out of the business or diluting shareholder value in the process.
Fact: DC likes money OUT of company rather than IN supporting growth. He has a short term view to the business with a long term view to his personal wealth fund.

Who is the beneficiary of his so-called reach?
How many red flags do you need?
Money taken OUT does not help the Co. If he believed in longterm payout he would leave money IN the business to speed up growth.
DC wants big payouts now. Ask yourself where his true belief rests. Clearly, he doesn't feel comfortable with assured return from growth.

Yes, DC is a talker and a taker. He's not a profit for shareholders kinda guy.
He talked his way up to the last end of year. No doubt he will do the same again.
He's sold himself the notion that Lego want his business. Typicall DC . He's underrated in his own mind and insignificant outside of Bricklive.
He'll do nicely out of LCVG but not with my money.

Let me share a thought.

Today i was asked about my selling/holding strategy for DEV.

1. Chris made a comment today. He said Dev would be cash natural by October.
He has said same twice before within last three weeks. So, today makes it a third time. He has nailed his CEO balls to the commercial mast.

2. Last month he said Dev were in ADVANCED talks with a global hardware partner regarding EDUCATE.
Today he said Dev were in FINAL talks with a hardware partner regarding EDUCATE.

We all have our own investment strategies. For Dev mine is simple. I expect Dev to achieve 1 and 2 no later than H2 trading report (which is generous as i believe the hardware news will - and should - come much earlier). If he fails on either one of those pledges, i will sell. I happen to think he will succeed in both - and with ease.

It's for these reasons i have been able to hold (avg down when i felt appropriate) - ignoring the ramp and de-ramp comments. It's important to have your own reasons for holding and sticking to them. It helps to filter out the noise and emotion. Ignore the FOMO and stick to what you know and understand. Manage the risk.

It's worked for me over the years.

It's not the much needed close above 4.2p, but it's very significant all the same. Anyone following this Co will understand.

I'm away to the Barn for a few days rebuilding a WW2 Spitfire engine. No phone. No internet. Just the purr of combustion.

For a whole host of reasons the Toshiba news is very significant. Beyond just taking payment for goods POS tech and the moment of transaction in21st Century is as much about connecting the retailer with the consumer in real-time: enhancing the experience, building brand loyalty, gathering data, and up-selling.

Lenovo is to EDUCATE what TOSHIBA and ORACLE is to ENGAGE.

I think the phrase you are struggling to share is "holding the baby".
Upholding the baby is unlikely to produce the outcome you suggest.
