The moment Cathal said - during interview - that as well as being the EX. Chairman he was also effectively the CEO sealed the reality (a reality we all knew to be true anyway).
Can you name a CEO worth his/her salt prepared to remain in the post when he/she holds the title but not the power as your Chairman and majority holder labels himself as CEO in public. And then, to add insult to injury, your name is dropped (intentionally or unintentionally) from Investor Factsheet.
I wouldn't be shocked to see Dr. Trevor Phillips departure as part of the final wave of pay-offs before end of Q2. Neither would i be shocked to find it formed part of a prior arrangement.
IMO he's an unnecessary expenditure.

The CEO of one of the world’s biggest airlines, American Airlines, is sticking to his guns with their Boeing 737 MAX orders. The airline has 76 MAXs on order and due to join its current fleet of 24 MAXs. But despite the challenges facing Boeing’s MAX program, American Airlines, and the wider aviation industry, American Airlines CEO Doug Parker isn’t planning to defer any 737 MAX deliveries.

In an interview with CNBC earlier today, Mr. Parker said his airline was ready and willing to take new aircraft.
“At this point, the new airplanes we have scheduled to come, we want. They’re great aircraft that will replace some of those aircraft that are leaving. We don’t have any intention of working with the manufacturers to defer or cancel any of those orders.”

I think you'll find that most investors wont take kindly to no official news followed by a rehash of previous presentations. Price sensitive news [contracts/co-projects] is required to keep share price above 7p.
