Hi Jan, as I said I am interested In enquest just need clarity how on terms on debt restructure as usually it means shareholder dilution.....
Recent discussions with IR does not give me confidence that debt restructure has been sorted!!!

I don’t have time for personal remarks. On the topic of hedging and why long term hedging is important.
One of the biggest failure I am sure you would agree with me with this management has been its hedging and I think where it’s failed massively. Even pmo and tlw hedged better. If enquest had some decent long term hedging than it would have been possible to keep some of the higher cost assets Operational and enquest would have benefitted greatly with Brent now above 50. The problem with enquest is production is forecasted to keep decrease year on year with new assets coming online.
If they hedge say 40 % of the production for 2021 and 2022 then atleast it would hedge the risk in the event of more unforeseen issues that we might not be aware of at this time.
What if enquest wait will 60 Brent and it never happens and Brent goes back to 40 ?

I raised the point about long term hedging with IR and that’s the reply I got:
“Please note, as we have mentioned in our results calls, hedging longer term is difficult at present with counterparties unwilling to extend credit to anyone given the prevailing macro uncertainties”

Seems like they are struggling with hedging for long term.....

Hi Kraken I am interested but I would like clarity on how the debt restructure will be funded!! Don’t forget that even though cash level was maintain they borrowed more ( debt increased) from the last update!!
The fire and reduction in production didn’t help.
Also I can’t see to find information on 2021 production numbers!! Why is that kept as a secret ??
I predict between 52-55k bopd for 2021 so even though Brent is increasing production is going down.

No if you read the article this is to ensure production from outside the Opec doesn’t rises and eat into their market share!!

Even a raise of say 100m will have massive impact on current shareholders imo....
