Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Bottom line is that this will turn. The assets are there and the value is there. It was there at 35p and its even more there at 26p.
While posted before these remain facts and always worth reminding:
- Average takeover price in N.America is $90 per oz
- we are currently valued at about $25 per oz - if you assume a reasonable upgrade to 1.5moz in October
- Majors/mid-tiers are looking for something with 2 Moz potential - which we easily fulfil
-Major and mid-tiers are cashed up = excellent M&A conditions
- Cheap CAPEX and AISC estimated at $800
- Excellent location
- Then on top of this throw in the battery metals! The value here is incredible.
People are waiting to put their money back in until the build up to the MRE. There will also be a few line drawers waiting for the turn-around signal to throw some money in. The market will wake up to this eventually, its just taking longer than everyone thought and has not been helped by a big seller - which is hopefully finished now along with a weak general market. I would love to find a more undervalued junior miner than Landore, but i dont think they exist certainly in the UK - please tell share if you think that there is and you can back it up with numbers?
Are you sure? for most of the day you could not buy 50k shares - this would not indicate a large seller and in general the past week has been lower than average volume, which would also not indicate a larger seller. Instead there has just been very little buying appetite. It would also not make sense for Hudleston to sell so soon after the last RNS, by that I mean you wouldn't submit the RNS until you are finished selling for a decent period of time.
We will see if there is any large delayed trades.
Thats a nice holding Samroy!
And thanks for sharing that info on Marl, it pretty much sums up what i think it is likely to happen here. Takeover after pre-feasibility at a big premium to the SP (If it remains depressed).
There have been several other comparable takeovers to Landore's assets (minus the battery metals) this year alone, it must happen, they are a sitting duck and surrounded by major companies in Ontario. It will not be dependent on gold price either.
I have a more optimistic view that we will see a re-rate in the build up to the MRE (October). These are the most important RNS for any juniors and there is nearly always some form of re-rating in advance of it being announced. There is no reason why will not see the same in LND. We then have the pre-feasibility which i guess will be done by January 2022. This again is another highly important moment and is the moment most likely to be attached with a bid for the company. Punters know this and there will be some speculation in the build up.
I think these are both guaranteed strong and meaningful news events (much more important than any drill RNS) and are likely to be strong catalysts.
The bottom line is that majors and mid-tiers need to replace their reserves or they go out of business. There are very few proven multi-million oz deposits (which we will soon be), especially in mining friendly countries. Then add that is much easier to build and start a new mine somewhere where you already have experience working - there are a good half dozen majors/mid-tiers working in Ontario. Then add in the fact that they are all cash rich following the gold price rise.
Its obvious, they have to take Landore out, why wouldn't they?
Yep that certainly would have been a good option regarding the iron if they were really trying to develop the company for the long-term.
But I think the company are pretty much focussed on a sale IMO, they have already got rid of non-essential assets and BH has said on a couple of occasions they just need to prove that there is 2Moz there - which there clearly is.
Takeover north of 100p just before/after pre-feasibility study released IMO. One day the wider market will realise this.
Playingtheodds - that is the total number of shares in the company. They have increased slightly because of the warrants. He deffo sold 500k.
Yeah, I also get confused with the international notifications and the timings, do they only have to notify if they break a 5 block.. Eg.. From 13% to 9%.... But would not have to notify from 13% to 11%? Or am I reading this wrong?
HI Trek,
Pretty sure he has sold a small amount (500k) - indeed there was a 500k trade on the 29th at 28p. He was at 10.05% as of the 9th June according to the annual report. The numbers all make sense. He has declared it now, so wont be selling any more in the near future at least. Looks like some form of top slice, not overly uncommon for major shareholders, especially that he has a load of warrants as well. That said, the timing is a little odd, he may have just seen the super high volume last week as a good way to sell a few.
He was not the only seller last week, pretty sure one of the cannacord funds sold out last week few last week, one can tell because the big 1.5 million trade ended in 61,167 the same as their holding (literally a 1 in 99,999 chance that it wasnt them), it was the Nano cap growth fund. We may or may not see a TR-1 for them because they are Canadian and there are different rules for them, or it may pop up later. Equally there was also a big buyer, not certain if they are over the declarable limit, but not impossible to see a TR-1 from them as all.

Anyway looking at todays trades, I am pretty sure the big seller is done for now, back down to normal volume and no big trades.
- Makes it crystal clear that there is NO need for any further fund raises for another exploration drilling campaign later this year. And there is no need to ask major shareholders to convert warrants.
- Will be looking at a two pronged attack on the battery metals and gold come October time
- Aware of the v. undervalued nature of the company and may consider director buys on open market
- Marketing campaign imminent
- Lots of people interested in the company (you could tell they were not trying to say to much here, very interesting_
- Although would not sell on the cheap, which includes the current values!
- Also confirmed what we suspected - large buys past few days.

Extended Q&A out now. Good to see the company doing this!
More monsters:
27-Jul-21 09:03:17 30.05 1,561,167 Buy* 29.50 30.50 469.13k
27-Jul-21 09:02:07 30.00 1,561,167 Unknown* 29.50 30.50 468.35k
Is this the end of the seller? we must also have new big money on the books.
If you add the big trades we have seen over the past few days, we cant be far off from a notification of major holdings. This would fly if we have one saying the seller is finished, or if there is new big money.
Think the 900k may have been a buy, same price as the 500k (almost same time as well). If i am being cynical I would not be surprised if the price was dropped to appease this buyer
400k could be a sale along with the 600k sale printed earlier on Friday. Would be surprised to see another big trade later today/tomorrow
Either way there clearly is a big buyer (although seemingly matched by big seller). At least Cenkos are finally doing some work!
This is great news that big money is starting to flow into Landore and good that it will help clear the seller faster - who surely must be running low on ammo!
Takeover will happen at some point in time. It could happen at the end of this year/early 2022 or a little later depending on the company's strategy:
a) Takeover later this year after the revised resource in October. BH has already stated in a couple of interviews that the majors/mid-tiers have said they need evidence of 2Moz, then we might see an offer not to far into the pre-feasibility (as per BH interview). We know we will have clear evidence of 2Moz.
b) the company may decide they may want to go hell for leather and go for a really large multi-rig drilling campaign to get the resource up above 3Moz. They may even do this anyway, I guess the worst thing to happen would be for the company just to sit back and wait, I guess you need to show some intent that you might go it yourself to get the best price.
Either way, for an investor this is an absolute gift. Even a 50% rise from here is 45p which would still be a pitiful SP given our assets. Its an open goal. Run the numbers, do the research.
Good to see some interest building here finally, always has amazed me how little chat/interest there is here. Other companies with considerably less assets (or no assets), but similar market cap's seem to generate a lot more volume / interest for some bizarre interest.
The average takeover price per oz in Canada is $90 per oz, our current market cap $40 (£30) million. We will have around 1.7 - 1.8 million ounces, if you take $90 as the average that should equate to a market cap of $162 million or share price of about £1.10. This does not include any allocation towards the nickel which might be worth as much as the gold.
We have hit the bottom here and this will bag at some point in the next few months - 12 months.
Major shareholders Eric Sprott and James Huddleston also hold a shed load of warrants @20p which expire in July next year, pretty much guarantees an extra 3-4 million in addition to being fully funded to June next year - as per annual report. Cashed up.
If Endeavour Silver pay US $100 million for Canamex Gold’s Bruner exploration project in Nevada which has a resource of 342,000 ounces at 0.61 g/t, what is BAM Gold worth when it has a resource of around 1.7-1.8 Million ounces at over 1 g/t?

Hopefully we get some good snippets from Bill tonight in the proactive 1 to 1.
Great Post UR - the most knowledgeable man on LND. I feel for those who have been in here for many years, there are a few kicking around (Mads as well) i can only begin to imagine your frustration. That said, even though there are very real frustrations with the boards presentation style and poor cominication. This remains a seriously undervalued company and there is an obvious belief that this well be taken over.
Majors and mid tiers are now fully cashed up, their reserves are depleting and LND is an excellent resource that is growing. I think there is a big difference between 1 Moz and clear evidence of 2 Moz +. Neither of these points have ever been so clear in the previous 5-6 years.
In my view, at 28/30p this remains the best value junior miner listed on the AIM. For example a 50% rise from here is 45p or around 45 million market cap. We will reach this sometime soon.
