RE: Multi-million oz deposit17 May 2021 09:26
Lor_9 - i do not think there has been alot of selling - rather not enough buying. There is absolutely no valuation metric that would put Landore at anything other than grossly undervalued. So I think our undervalued nature can partly be explained by lack of promotion. We have had 1 interview during this drilling campaign. We had Bonanza Gold intercepts and further excellent results again today, but again no interview or promotion. The board should be shouting from the rooftops here, but its not the way they operate, they are very old school.
Unfortunately, retail investors value this gimmicky promotion and CEO quotes. Just look at some of the other companies who have, or have had similar market caps. For example in January ECR Minerals had a larger market cap than Landore. At the time ECR had, 0 drill results and a resource of 0 oz (still do), or look at POW - again they loads of properties, but essentially have nothing, except a very smooth PR machine. While Landore had a resource of over 1 million oz's and are in the middle of a 24,000 m drilling program and no PR.
The bottom line is we will have around 1.5 million oz's resource in the summer, owned 100%, its cheap to mine and they are looking to sell it. At the moment, our market cap values this at $33 an oz. This is pitiful, average takeover price in N.America over past couple of years is about $100 per oz, this does not include the recent substantial increase in gold either.
