Is the date we go into the MSCI index - its not going to be a GDXJ event, it will be a much smaller buy (I think it will be somewhere in the region of $1 million- not100% sure its tricky to work out). However, it still may be very useful because the 30th November is the date the GDXJ will take the data for their next rebalance. If buy the same way as GDXJ, and do it all in the last 30 mins of business - a nice little spike is possible - even 3/4% would increase our weighting and result in a larger GDXJ buy, which is significant.

Uncrossing trade at 21p in the auction at the end of the day.

It was the UT, strongly suspect it was GDXJ selling a few.

Bully - I think the key is (not that we really have any control) is to make the share price as high as possible by the announcement date. They don't buy x amount of shares, they buy x millions of $. Below are some rough estimates of how much they would have to buy based on our share price at announcement date.

0.20p = would take us to 0.75% (+0.1% BUY $ 6 million)
0.23p = would take us to 0.9% (+0.25% BUY $ 15 million)
0.28p = would take us to 1.03% (+0.37% BUY $ 22 million)

Personally wouldnt rule out higher SP by 30th November with Scally + broker notes.

Bamps - I think its for that reason why it is really exciting from a GGP perspective that they are drilling Grilla first. They have several targets over a large area and chose Grilla first - there must be a very good reason. It would be great news for us if they hit given the proximity to our targets, which i presume display similar geophysical characteristics.

Paddy - are you familiar with Antipa's JV with Newcrest? Could we expect their drilling to be reported at the next Newcrest quarterly in January or will Antipa report it themselves? Would be very interesting because it is very close to the border.

Antipa have started their drilling program in the JV region with Newcrest. The Antipa/Newcrest area is pretty large, but despite the large area to chose from, it seems they have chosen to start their drilling program right next to GGP Patterson East Land - their Grilla target which is next to the GGP Prefect target. I have highlighted this on the image. It could even be part of the Prefect target which overlaps the two areas of land. We will most likely get an update on Antipa/Newcrest findings here before we start/publish any results from our own drilling in Paterson East.

I think the activity spotted the other day near Paterson East which was very reasonably interpreted as the Scallywag convoy making its way up to Paterson East is actually Antipa/Newcrest activity because the locations match up with the Antipa Grilla target .... Antipa actually confirmed today that drilling is underway in this location as well. So it is still unknown when we will start up in Paterson East.

It is very telling that both Artemis and Antipa - who both hold large areas of land have chosen to start drilling as close to GGP land as possible. Bodes very well for us!

I have overlain the Havieron zones of minerlization and ARV gravity targets detailed in their quarterly report.

It is noticeable how they have a second target SW of Havieron and how the main Havieron section extends roughly in line with the new Eastern Breccia. Does anyone know if what has ARV done different to get these targets?

Also note how ARV targets spill into the GGP/NC JV region.

I would suspect that the funny line spacing on JJ's original post would be highly indicative of a direct copy and paste from an email.

ChristopheB - I have to slightly disagree. The SP has not always dropped on excellent news over the past 18 months, I think that is a bit of a myth which always gets bounded around news time. For example the day after the last interim in September the SP was significantly up, as it was on the previous interim in June. Of course I have no idea how it will behave after the next set of results, if we get an explosive 25% in the days preceding it will probably go down the day after ... but these things are far from certain....

Paddy - Interesting comparison is that Artemis and Antipa Market cap's combined is about half of the $400 million valued to GGP Paterson land....

What could they know which could value our Paterson land at twice the combined market caps of Artemis and Antipa...

i can only wonder............

I think it is telling they specifically state 'across the Paterson' - not just other GGP holdings in general. How could anyone attribute a value of 413 million without some for of information that they have hit something?

If this note was released the day after our last results (which i presume the data used in the note is based of) everyone would be very happy when the SP was 17p. Since then we have had no more information on either Havieron or any other GGP news so why would we expect higher or be disappointed with this number. Really we should be thinking this as a ~25% upgrade on the previous Hannam note and actually market kind of worked it out ... because the SP was roughly 22p

I would go as far to say that 22p is excellent if it does not include the breccia or any other GGP assets. The breccia is the big figures. Hopefully someone will be able to get hold of the note to show this.
