PYX Resources: Achieving volume and diversification milestones. Watch the video here.
Thanks Sparrowe for a acknowledging my earlier article and for re-posting it at regular intervals.. ultimately this is what will form a framework for any offer, unless of course any skeletons are identified from the various reviews and/or due diligence exercises which cast serious doubt on the validity of information already in the public domain , or any new derogatory information which comes to light.
My biggest fear, obviously, is that net earnings have been systematically overstated , but tbh, I seriously doubt the integrity of the financials, it's the adequacy of the governance arrangements which are currently the major problem...
Dana winner...Thanks for your entry...Touchstone TXP..
I will include it on the list...we now have 15 entrants..
I will publish a full list of all their top stock pics later ..
Keep the entries coming in, not just for the fun of the competition, as to who is the top stock picker ,on this board...but to the more important objective of providing you all with options of where to invest all of your winnings from NMC when you eventually decide to sell .
Hi Moneybags....yes I did spot it....I assumed that was what had happened and I just happened to be on line when you made your choice.
I have found it very enlightening, in that through people's selections including yours, I have discovered numerous shares that I have never previously looked at...the fact that the people on this board who entered the competition chose their favourite share , will cause me to give detailed attention to them...
Mornington's choice for example made 59 % profit today !!
There must be 40 different contributors on this board , making regular comments about the strengths or woes of the NMC...I wish they would just let everyone on this board know what their favourite share is that they have their eye on....So far 14 people have done so ..
Deos. Well done, your gamble to choose NMC in the shares competition has rewarded you handsomely with a gain of 32 % on the first day of the competition which will run until the end of March
Believe it or not though, you are still not the leader; one entrant, Mornington Cz, has already made 55 % with his selection of a bio tech company called NCYT... Things can change rapidly though, so the message to other entrants, is don’t despair
There are now 14 entrants with their chosen share tips and new entrants are encouraged to make their selection, so they can be shared with other members on this board,.
I will be producing a league table at the end of each week, so you can compare how you are doing alongside all the other entrants...
MBS....yes indeed....mind you it could have fallen by 3% just the luck of the draw...
Zahimira.....Intu. ??? Nobody has selected that ..
Chumba selected Indivior...is that who you are mixing it up with ?
Moneybag Smith ...UOG registered but at 3.55 pence..which was the price when you registered it .
Ok Chumba...I have registered Indivior for you at its current share price of 43 pence...
Please all, if you do make an entry please state the share price at the time of making the entry to prevent distortions from subsequent intra day movements.
Thanks
Ok just a brief respite from all the drama and excitement..
I acknowledge 5 more entrants to the 'Alternative Shares' competition as shown below...

2......Pearls............ ..SGI ........................... .3.15 pence

2...Adzy ...unfortunately your share selection of Ferrexpo has already gone...please select another share
Please let me know if I have missed anybody out who tried to register their entry this morning..
One selection by Mornington ...' NCYT '...has already registered a 40 % gain today to take a massive early lead in the competition.. Deos who selected NMC last night is up by 7 %
Full updates at the end of every week .
Please do enter this competition...it's a way of exchanging share tips between ourselves as part of a competition... Thus far we have 13 entrants...
Ok we now have 8 entrants all competing to nominate the share which they think will have the highest price gain between now and the 31 March, 2020 when the competition ends and the results are anounced..
Updates on the league table positions will be provided on a weekly basis at the end of each week..
This competition has been set up both as a respite from repeated contributions regarding NMC but also to inform and educate board participants of other shares that other board members favour...
The current entrants , nominated shares and initial prices of the share are as follows :
1....AW.........Ferrexpo........£ 1.443
2....Deos......NMC.............. £ 7.00
3...SWG........ GGP...............£ 4.35
4...Mark...... .Kefi.....................1.75 pence
5...Tiptree. CWR.............£ 4.37
6...Danny S. H.L ............£ 16.045
7. Stanley. INDV.............£ 43.49
8.heres hopin. STAF.. 47.5 pence...
Just a brief reminder of the rules...
1....Entrants can only nominate one share at a time.
2.....A share once nominated cannot be nominated again by anyone else .
3...You can close your position at any time once you think the maximum gain of that share has been reached ..but once you have closed your position on that share you cannot re-open it....Once you have closed one position though you are free to nominate another share for the competition , which theoretically means that one entrant could hold two or more shares in the top 5 depending on how their nominations perform..
Remember though, that only one live nomination can be held at any one time...
There are already an array of nominations of shares, some of which I have never heard of...
Everyone please feel free to make your nomination at any time right up until 7 days before the closing date following the rules stated above..
IMPORTANT.....Please state the current share price of the share you nominate at the time you nominate it to negate against any significant movements in their intra day prices...
Good luck all...and please do enter this competition if only to exchange your share tips with everyone else on the board .
Ok update of entrants at 8.30 pm.

Thanks Tiptree will register you for CWR at £4.37 in the next update..
I must say that I have never heard of some of these shares so it's very enlightening to be introduced to them..
Deos..sorry did I record your choice incorrectly...do you wish to register. NMC at £7.00
Thanks Mark...that makes 4 entries already ..thus
1. AW..... FERREXPO......£1.443
2 . Deos... METRO...... . £2.16
3..SWG... GGP. .......... £4.35
4 .Mark......Kefi.......... £1.75
To help me out could all other entrants please include the share price at the time you register your selection..it may well rise or fall substantially during the same day but either before or after you make your choice so it has to be correctly recorded..
Thanks and Good luck .
Thanks Deos...so now we have a competition ..thus far we have
AW.... Ferrexpo....... £1.443
Deos. Metro....... £ 2.16
Let's keep the rules simple .
1...Only 1 choice allowed.
2..Once you have registered your selection nobody else can choose it .
3....people can make their selection at any time between now and then , and can cash in their share price at any time between now and then and the gain achieved at that time will be frozen and is the price at which their entry will be judged on the 31st March
4.....There are only 3 rules .
Good luck all..
Thanks Deos...the competition starts from today and ends on March 31st..
Is Metro your choice that you wish to enter at the current share price of £2.16. !
Thanks Mark..
Now choose one of them which you think will rise the most between now and March 31st..
It's just a silly little competition to see who is the best short term stock picker ...
I will keep and update each of the share recommendations with weekly league table updates..
Thus far we have..
AW....Ferrexpo. £1.443
At
I don't know about you but I think the general takeover talk has been thrashed to death on here now, with the same discussions and links being posted over and over again, but we have reached the stage now where more focus is being placed on the accompanying insults..
I am starting this new thread with a request for you to share the names of other shares that you either hold and feel very positive about, or a share that you have your eye on and why...
If the NMC share price does escalate tomorrow and I exit with a profit, then I will be looking for another share to invest in .
I am happy to start ..I have my eye on FERREXPO because excellent set of results due and they have little debt.. The main risk is the question marks re money laundering, hanging over a couple of the large shareholders, but to me that's just background noise coming over from the Ukraine .
It's also close to a 12 month low, and these in general are shares I review more closely .
Anybody have any shares that they have their eyes on or already hold, that they feel positive about , that they would like to mention on this new thread ?
Cheers ..
Sham...it isn't so much cash holdings which will determine the take over or take private bid price as they still have roll over loan facilities that they could access..
Any offer will be based on an assessment of future earnings using the forecast £230 million net profit for 2019 as a baseline . all to be validated of course during the resulting due diligence process..
I composed a variety of potential bid prices under three different scenarios about 1.30 am (if you would like to read it) as I can't cut and paste on this phone to reproduce it here...
