RE: Andrew Tinkler.........8 Feb 2019 19:59
I hope so for all the holders here.
I can't believe that two of the biggest holders aren't planning something, especially given their strong opposition to the current deal.
Could Tinkler be trying to get his own consortium together to make a formal offer?
Could Hosking have a case for an injunction. Many people say their isn't enough evidence for a judge to pass an injunction, but it is debatable IMO.
Regardless of how powerful the consortium powers are here, let's not forget that Tinkler is not a complete mug. He pretty much built Stobart up to where it is by himself. In contrast, the major players who are trying to rip everyone off here are mostly serial failures.
Tinkler is a man of good business sense up against a pack of smug faced business morons who's only personal success comes from cosying up to the right crooks and big hitters at the expense of almost every shareholder in every company they've been involved in.
I don't mean to give people false hope either. We must be realistic. Until we hear otherwise, the situation is as dire as it appears to be. If the 22nd comes and goes unopposed then it's goodnight. The clock is ticking and it is looking pretty bad at the moment, but I would be astonished if Tinkler and/or Hosking don't have a last ditch attempt at frustrating this crooked deal. Given their interest here, I refuse to accept they have simply resigned themselves to the same fate that most shareholders have.
I hope and pray for everyone there is still a chance of justice here. I have everything crossed for you all.
