RE: Metaverse26 Jul 2022 15:13
While historically first mover into a new market doesnt always run the show long term, Tintra seems different. Metaverse is already recognised and major brands and companies are investing. They are not trying to reinvent the wheel just create a new wheel for the Metaverse, in this case banking services. They have one hell of a team together and if they get a sniff of being a success the billionaires of Dubai will simply take them out. Interested to hear the update this week, when it comes, and the price of the next funding round.
I cant believe at least some of the initial investors will come on board for the second round, now it has been derisked to a certain extent. Then we have the conditional investor who was just a little too late to the table and new investors. The arb situation between the share price and next placing price (said to be higher tan 504p) is crazy. If they have proof of concept and can prove the project has potential, the arbs will climb aboard this at some point even to a 50/50 chance, i.e. chase it up to 50% of the next funding price.
While markets are tricky at the moment there is money out the and the UK has the strongest FinTech sector in the world just now. Interesting times ahead.
