Little bit tricky that - how can the BOD be seen to sell shares at £12.50+ in the next round (with potential investors classed as insiders) but BOD buying at £1.40 in the market. Surprised if we seen any director share buying until the fund raising is finished.

They were bidding for 10k shares first thing this morning inside the spread so I guess they have a buyer but mms are running a flat book. They must be terrified incase the first investor RNS drops when they are short.

This is the start of the buying frenzy in expectation of FDA approval at the end of September.

Cant be long until we hear of the first investor in the next round?

The investor presentation was only launched after the AGM on Friday.I agree though, it sounded like RS already had soft commitments for the next funding round.

This has been hit by the market because from what they were saying about the FDA application, there shouldnt be a problem this time around. They were in discussion with the FDA and appear to have covered all of the previous queries. While always a risk buying a share on expected FDA approaval this one is way way over sold.

I wonder if they will announce new investors in the next round as they happen - like they did last time - or leave it until the book is full. I think they will announce the first investor, as and when, to rubber stamp the price and then, hopefully, not give us a blow by blow account like they did the last time. They got tied in knots with receipt of funds, etc. Just tell us when the first investor is confirmed and then when the fund raising is complete. Reading Monday's statement again, RS suggests on more than one occasion that previous investors and those "in their orbit" will take up the new shares.

I calculated a minimum price of £12.50 on what we know - probably performance related warrants attached but I dont see an issue with that. He is attempting to raise the market cap of the company by issuing no more that 10% of new shares. If he can pull that off it would be one hell of a feat. Personally, I think the signs are he has soft commitments and the funding should be easier this time after proving proof of concept.

Looks to me like it wasnt working out and they decided to go their separate ways? If it isnt working there needs to be chancge, cant blame either party for this.

Decent update - just need to sign the next deal to get the market believing again.

I have been in and out of this one a few times over the years and will be getting back in very soon. I think that once they break the back of a their first to market treatment it will become a cashcow and dividend income will flow. The pipeline is very high quality and the partnership and potential partnerhsip deals will turn sentiment at some stage. There was some concern about the cash burn but the recent Sanofi payment should put these fears to bed once and for all.

Looking for at least one, maybe 2, deals to be announced this year and see this as a potential multi-bagger in the medium to long term.

Now the dust has settled, people have posted about the AGM and we await the release of full year results on Monday (hopefully), the future seems a lot clearer. Some of the feedback from the AGM has been on a different level and if the company does raise the $25m surely we will move towards the £5 level and then slowly reduce the gap with the next fund raising price (est £12.50ish). Those of us who have ridden the recent waves may be on the verge of something big?

Personally I dont think they would ever have announced this next fund raising if they hadnt already sounded out existing and new investors. Not a done deal but they must have soft committments otherwise their reputation, and all associated with the company, is shredded.

I have suspect, although I am just guessing. the results have been held back to announce the first investor and a forward looking statement. I cant see any other reason.

Wonder if we will see announcement after the market has closed - they have done that before.

It feels ready to fly if the results have some news on investors and forwarding thinking for the business.

Very interested to see the forward comments, and perhaps news on the fund raising, when the results are announced.

Sceptics will look at the legacy business, optimists will focus on the future.
