There’s being optimistic and there’s unrealistic. If they post another c£4.5m loss again his year they are in big, big trouble. No company of this size can lose that sort of money and survive.

When you next email the company ask if they have sold anything. If the answer is still no big trouble is round the corner.

The markets have been rubbish over the last few weeks and those who refuse to hear anything against GDR claimed 'the whole market is down today' as a way to pacify themselves for yet another poor day in GDR City. When any suggestion was made that the two are not linked and its just GDR being GDR the usual crew were all over it saying it was nonsense.

So today the markets have had one of their best days for a long, long time yet GDR has another red day. Would the same people who blamed GDR on the markets being down due to general market forces like to offer an opinion as to why its still gone down today.

Also - Bruno, what a joke. He claimed he bought in again at about 17/18p but clearly from todays posts has lost his bottle and sold. By my reckoning that's a 10-15% loss on this deal. Admit it Bruno, like most of us on here you have no idea what you are doing!

Not sure why people get such dogs abuse when they suggest only sales will really push this up and sustain it. Any business that spends more than they bring in struggle. The sales may eventually come and need to. Giving away free machines to test doesn’t count btw.

The funding is great but when I suggested this wouldn’t go into the GDR coffers, guess what? more abuse. That money will go to UoM and rightly so. Universities have a history of success and failure. In the meantime Budd needs to turn these wonderful partnerships into sales. Based on history, he won’t.

All we see is when this happens it will fly, when that happens it will fly. I can’t be bothered to look for the posts but no doubt are plenty saying once confirmation Devote are involved this will be 30, 40 or 50p, maybe £1.23!

I am a bit confused, have GDR missed the Devote funding or not? Is Budd doing a good job or a bad one?. Is the price going to go up or down? Have you bought or sold? It's so hard to tell with you as one day you say one thing and the next day you say another. I agree with Carlos - plank describes you well (albeit a little insulting to planks).

Gloria, I do agree some do try and talk the price down on here (not that it makes a jot of difference to the overall price) but can’t understand what Starres has said which isn’t factual?

Half the problem with this is people want to dismiss facts and just give a thumbs up to the hopeful posts (some which granted are factual while others are absolute nonsense such as Bruno’s earlier!).

The NHS are really difficult to get into, that’s not to say it can’t happen but at the moment they are nowhere near. They are literally trialling a few free machines and that’s about it.

If you can’t sell covid tests during a worldwide pandemic it doesn’t bode well.
