The decision by the BOD not to pump gas into Rough last summer was a bid mistake and has cost Centrica millions if not billions.

The Gas held in the Rough Field is worth 50% more than it was a month ago and the other Energy companies who rely on buying cheep on the spot market must be in trouble now. I would not be surprised if we did not see some go bust in the next few months if the price of gas stays high. In any case I think they will not be able to undercut British Gas for some time and this will mean no more loss of customer numbers for some time all this will help the bottom line and the SP.

I suspect it is the new cost of oil to drive the ships is causing the drop in sp lets hope they have bought forward at a good price

If we did a deal with the Gov on the Rough field they would have a say on the price we could charge or the profit made as it is we are free to make a profit without government interference.

It is only just over 6 months since the company rejected a bit of £ 26 per share how much does it have to fall before another bid. Just bought another 200 at 1764p.

I am a long time holder here and in profit at long last. Many funds buy stock in anticipation on the firms entering the FTSE250 so we may expect a pull back after it enters next week but the long term it is looking good again

All the people who contributed £7 m are all showing large losses and I guess are not pressed with Iain Ross I do not think he will have much joy going to this well again any time soon.

Yes and Reneuron was funded for 12 months and the shares have no value to existing shareholders after administration by Ross

S Love looks like you are right I have been asked to vote on the offer by HL before the 21st Aug for the meeting called for the 27 Aug to ratify the Offer.

Hi Bashchurch1 I was a Re neuron share holder when it want into administration are you saying I am still a share holder . in a private company I have not had any communication from Reneuron since it went into administration.

Hi nurse Steve thanks for the research on Ross I was a long term investor in Reneuron and lost money. Ross came into Reneuron and put it into administration without asking existing share holders money to carry on . The company had a long list of patents in the Retinal Pigmentosa area and a tie up with a China Company giving a regular money stream. Many patient tests and a presentation on BBC television but despite this Ross decided on administration. Not sure who owns the Patents now but I suspect they are with Ross and his other directors. I hope the same thing does not happen here I am grateful to Steve for doing his homework I am only sorry I did not do mine before I invested will not be putting any more money here with Ross in charge.
