Cash distribution potential at B&M3 Oct 2018 17:31
"Jefferies is expecting positive interim results from discount household goods business B&M (BMEB) and good news from Germany could even result in special cash distributions.
Analyst James Grzinic retained his ‘buy’ recommendation and target price of 470p on the shares, which fell 1.3% to 388.3p yesterday.
‘We expect reassuring B&M interims in November,’ he said. ‘A pull forward of seasonal sales into the first quarter should lead to more modest second quarter like-for-like gains. But more contained UK clearance costs should offset mix dilution and the phasing out of older ranges in Germany.’
He added that the potential for ‘positive inflection in Germany’ and also special cash distributions ‘should make for an upbeat outlook’."
I'm still out of this having sold at 421. Retail (other than OCDO) is just too flaky for me, I have all the losers I need already and altho' I have a bit of cash, I can wait. And I have all the Batman figures I need.
