RE: Share holders4 Sep 2019 11:38
I'm not saying TOR is perfect but it's a bit of a tall order to say shareholders can bring proceedings against him. What's happened is PVR have entered into a commercial arrangement with APEC and APEC haven't delivered on their half. It's no different to ordering a pizza, paying for it, and nothing arriving. That doesn't mean you're negligent for choosing that pizza company. It means you have no control on the reasons why the pizza delivery didn't take place. What do you do then? You can't force the pizza to arrive.
People are very quick to judge or blame. I'm not defending TOR but more the blaming culture. Any CEO could have been left in the lurch by this deal. There are a number of lifestyle companies on AIM but non-receipt of expected funds is not how lifestyle companies perpetuate their continuance, it's through fanciful projects that don't go anywhere. I think we all agree that Barryroe as far more than fanciful. There are a million examples of companies jumping into bed with bad commercial partners. It's life. We just have to hope the funds arrive one way or another.
