Well I think it puzzles everyone who has been involved in commerce. How can DSM give it the enthusiasm that they have done to date, without hitting a "major" ?
You obviously know who they have on the team as a brand manager. In his other role, he has achieved solid brand progress, and been involved in opening many new markets. Clearly the difference is that one of his companies has raised major funds, and has an impressive core of backers, whereas the other is strapped for cash, its core backers being mystery men. If only Provexis could become cash positive, then brand awareness would be much more feasible.
Interesting that you think much more could have been achieved, and at lower cost, because that flies in the face of everything I've experienced in trying to grow a brand. Cash speaks IMHO
