Headancer - more like 1.25M on top of 2.8M previously - so currently exposed by about 4M I estimate.

The previous maximum exposure I have seen is around 7M, but that of course was during the late warrantithic period which we have now left behind us.

I suspect that they readily understand the strong buying pressure that could return and would want to make sure that they have some kind of long exposure before they let that fed out out again. The approach on 50p will happen again, and this time there will be no warrants and probably 5-10M less shares held by less strong hands

no it can be done whilst the company stays on AIM

I'm not sure such a transition would do to any market maker who had a short position running at the time of the transition - no doubt they would have to unwind that, but who knows how much of a heads-up they would get.

The request to move to SETS from the current system (SETSgx) happens at the request of the company.

Selling now is not a smart thing to do.

As Benjamin Graham pointed out - buying a good quality company when the margin of safety is at its maximum (i.e.when the market price is at its lowest price compared with the intrinsic fundamental valuation) is the smartest thing to do.

YTSS - no the stop losses that have already been reported today are already factored into the correct Buys (6.6M) vs Sells (5.3M)

It is going to need a sell of something like 4M to clear the accumulated Market makers short position.

Wul_1976 well with 6.6M Buys vs only 5.3M Sells if they are looking to pick up shares then they are going about it in the wrong way.

Jhill - this is just the last in a series of strange after hour trades that has occurred each day since the 7th of November - the sizes are always between 10,800 and 11,000 - 10.988 is a very common one, but other 10,900's occur.

Anyone ?
