Anyone who has ever tried putting their own slates on their roof may appreciate that trying to do the same trick with things made of glass, whilst hoping that somehow there remains a continuous electrical contact between them all, will appreciate what a silly idea the Solarcity roof tiles is.

I've been told that Mr Musk is a 'physicist' - so I did a little bit of digging only to discover that he only stayed 2 days of the Masters course (the necessary starting requirement of a PhD) at the Applied physics department in Stanford in 1995. Turns out I was in the same department only two years early, but came back to the UK for my PhD. One thing that real research in experimental physics teaches you is that it can be surprisingly difficult to make reliable electrical connections. Who knew ?

To add to everyone's posts on this subject already I will simply add that as there is no public market in Vanadium there is no way to actually buy significant amounts of it, for eg speculation purposes - thus there is just not the mechanism in place that might lead to bubbles in other commodities.

icarus - you'd be very lucky to get that now but it's entirely up to you if you want to take the chance. With the IC coverage at the end of last week, the clearing of warrants and significant news very soon I expect the SP to push above 50p this week.

Following the analysis over the weekend ( https://www.thebushveldperspective.com/blog/public-articles-1/post/wogen-gone-351 ) I think the MMs will have rolled back their short position now and thus have not incentive to walk the price any lower. Late friday's drop was simply a ruse to catch anyone out who was day trading or felt the need to have cash available monday morning - the behaviour before that was more telling:- lower volume but stable SP.
