That’s a great read. It really is looking like all the stars are aligning for PREM finally. We could & should all being well be producing just at the right time, when li prices are sky high and are in the highest demand in history.

*Albemarle now expects the price at which it sells its lithium to jump at least 225% in 2022 and adjusted profit in its lithium division to rise at least 500%.

*In fact the company says it now expect “significant growth in full-year 2022 results including net sales of $US7.1 – $US7.5 billion,” or twice the 2021 figure.

*Adjusted EBITDA for 2022 is now forecast to be three times the 2021 figure in a range of $US3.2 – $US3.5 billion.

*Net sales surged 91% to $US1.48 billion in the quarter. Adjusted EBITDA was $US610.2 million up a huge $US415.6 million from the June, 2021 quarter primarily due to higher net sales

Some banks and research houses, however, are less optimistic about the prospect for lithium prices, with analysts at Goldman Sachs pointing to technological advances that could yield more supply within a couple of years. That was in a note issued in June and saw a brief sell off in the prices of lithium mining and exploration companies.

But the impact didn’t last and the points raised by Goldman Sachs has been undermined by experts at Benchmark Mineral Intelligence and other analysts who point out there will be no technological breakthrough of the type claimed by Goldman Sachs because Chinese lithium ores are low grade and expensive to convert as a result.

I still read your posts with interest, we have differed in opinions previously. But at the end of the day we all want this to rocket. We both agree prem is in the best position it has ever been in. Onwards and upwards.

We don’t really know that because we don’t have the full drill results from the other core samples. Yes 53m overburden is a fair amount but this is just one core. Looking back at the other results the goodies are closer to surface. Let’s not get fixated by this one core.

The Chinese have clearly seen many core sample results and are happy to finance the pilot plant. They know so much more than we do.

The deal should be signed off in the next few days or early next week. No one has pulled the plug so it’s happening.

The money is in the ground, coming out around March 2023. Sit tight until then, nothing more we can do. We have the plan we all screamed for for a year, so it’s over to the consultants on-site to get the mine built and producing. Let’s be sure of one thing, we won’t be 0.28 when producing and the shipments of spodumene are delivered in China.

In the meantime there’s a few things that could shift the price up considerably. Just got to be patient and wait a bit longer. I like many others here am 7+ years in this and continue the wait. GLA

I liked the interview also, lots of information. I jotted some notes down for a fellow investor who couldn’t watch while at work. Pasted below.
Let’s see where we go from here, with the Chinese on his back and new hires coming maybe just maybe this is the time prem seriously delivers.

Notes:

Site work at Zulu commences 30 July

Contractors are already all at site

Plant construction timeline final delivery to site mid January

Most of plant onsite by end December, final component mid January

Power will be by generators but looking at Solar power

Water is at site from a dam, construction being looked at now, complete by December / jan

2 of the 4 sorters ready to ship from supplier (sensor based ore sorters)

Production by February and first shipment end of March

Road will be finished end of July

Updating markets on a monthly basis

Said he had suggested putting a camera up at Zulu to watch the progress

Thank you, I did raise an eyebrow at 3.5p. 1.5p short to mid term sounds more reasonable and realistic. Although like everyone here I do hope that is just the beginning and we can all do very very well out of prem.

Lots of byproducts in the ground as we know, stockpile for now and offtake (s) for these later. Let’s sell some Li first and fund the next stage.

As frustrating as this is sometimes (I’m in since 2015) prem have never been in a better position. £47m from SZSE is quite a chunk of money and will push us forward at some pace I’d imagine. A new beginning? These Chinese know how to get things done, and at speed. George will have to get them done.
