What I can't wrap my head around is this company is heavily loss making and yet is valued at 21x sales and people expecting price to go up from here?

I think revenue growth is impressive if it can be or is expected to be replicated then this might be a new base valuation but it shouldn't go higher without further meaningful news

Mcsquares, the spreadbetting firms are not allowing longs to take leverage positions. IG has been shut for MONTHS now. Highly unusual.

If you want the upside you'll have to buy in the market without leverage.

Despite all the doom and gloom it seems spreadbet firms clients are confident and not selling through the volatility here

The primary reason to sell Dx, other than for the money, is to make Avacta a simpler more attractive investment proposition.

It'll be cash flow +ve next year and in a huge growth sector itself hence why we've received multiple bids already.

She is holding out for a decent price, perhaps to ensure avacta have enough money once it's gone to last them until 2026 as I think most of us realise Avacta will by that point either have a major deal and/or a Nasdaq listing and raise at higher price or a TO offer.

Once dx gone that reduces cash burn and increases focus of the company.

Auditor doesn't need to sign off the reports until Q1/Q2 2025, we have plenty of cash for the foreseeable and a lot can happen by the time that auditor report is due. I don't know what people are fretting about. The real ones that need to be concerned are GSA. But small fish panicking PI's will no doubt let them out completely unscathed. It would be funny if it wasn't so tragic.

Wyn, my view is that the data is so good that BP, II's & FDA are being extra extra cautious. So as long ad avacta are not lying (which I seriously seriously doubt) then BP and FDA will be convinced it's just a matter of time.

Other thing holding SP back is actually our small market cap, atrocious market conditions and the index we are listed on.

I think a lot of it is for show tbh. They'll continue to use the black gold until it's all gone. What incentive is there for them to move towards hydrogen? There's plenty of oil left yet and trump won't be pushing green agenda neither are China etc..

Reasonable update today though company still valued at approx 15x sales and nowhere near profitable as costs have increased also. Money in the bank gives cushion for now. My view is this perhaps justifies current valuation but it's tough to imagine valuation increasing on the back of this update in my view. Still not out the woods yet. Update better now BOND has gone

You can sell anytime mate. Get rid of all or half your position today and put the money to better use elsewhere. Loads and loads of options. Nobody is encouraging or forcing you to stick around here.

Heights were always going to drag this down to around the conversion price buy by my calculations they should have done or be almost done selling now.

Hopefully all this good news avacta have put out over the past few months has attracted the eyes of some people with deep pockets and they start to position themselves. Maybe then people will chill out a bit and stop panicking about every 1p movement in share price

People can say they are trading or short term or long term. What that means for me and I think also to many including ice is we are invested until the company is inevitably takes over. However long that takes. I don't need to worry about my entry too much and I don't need to worry about my exit. It'll take care of itself.

Any offer that comes in instantly validates the tech so if it's worth £2 a share then it's worth £10 a share if that makes sense.

I'm sure if Novartis stuck in a £10 per share offer the likes of Pfizer, Lily, Roche etc.. would just sit back and be like "oh hey, look at them go, buying the keys to revolutionise the treatment of cancer" then watch their own drugs become obsolete over the proceeding years lol

The technology is worth what it's worth and one way or another it will find the correct valuation.

The bored have done exactly what they are supposed to and can do. The market is garbage and so is the index we're listed on. The technology the science is stunning and the bored are getting all there ducks in a line. They are actively engaging with us and II's. It'll come when it comes. Sell if you can go find anything better with better risk and reward profile than avacta. Moaning on here isn't going to do nothing

They're all like kids throwing there toys out the pram best ignored. End of the day avacta do a good enough job themselves of explaining everything to the level required to make an investment decision.
