Who cares if you're in long term? Main thing is rumours have now been fairly and squarely dispelled and those conjuring them well and truly exposed.

Sadly if the last few months have shown us anything they've proved this is true. A turning point will come though with solid fundamentals and continued updates like this.

Going to have to read this several times to digest it, but that's the RNS we've been waiting for. Encouraging to see the market respond this morning.

Firstly I have to say I realised you may not like being addressed as Aduk. I actually sound this out as A D U K not 'a duck' . Having tried ADouble recently it just didn't scan right so I'm going back to Aduk unless it is annoying in which case I shall get over my scanning issues!

Thought has crossed my mind several times over the last few months ... particularly the BP stepping in bit!

A move to the main market would obviously open the door to larger IIs whose current codes prevent them investing in AIM. At least those funds that have not fully divested from O&G and there are plenty still out there!

Try to switch off, the assets are there and there is oil in the ground being offloaded. I think this a long planned bear raid. PIs are spooked, stop losses shattered and as we're on AIM and not the main market this is not having the best effect on the SP at the moment. CMD just 8 weeks away and I'm sure we'll get an update in the next few weeks.
Get some sleep - the SP may go down but it will also go up.

If it's on its way down, I'll be very relieved, an opportunity to invest more before it, inevitably, is very much on its way up!

I took Dan to mean in Q1, wasn't banking on Chinese New Year and given the current news re. virus spread, expect that may have a knock on effect causing delays in way or another. I'm happy if we have a tangible update by end of April.

Quite right re. lab results, may take a few weeks but awaited with interest. As to wet season, I believe that can last up till late March/early April. But as the RNS stated they've made the most of weather windows to make progress with this additional drill, no doubt they'll seize the next opportunity that presents itself too.

Agreed, hold and wait. I am braced for a further drop now purely because stop losses will be triggered and many nervous PIs getting out. On the upside, personally, glad I waited to top up (on the bright side!). I wouldn't top up further until I see some stability in the price and for whatever reason that might be a while yet.
No news is generally good news, and news there will be in 8 weeks or so with an update pre CMD - I believe.

Quite incorrect. Many on here and on Adfvn have, including myself. The response has been to myself and based on what others have posted here, see the RNS on 13.12.19 - Business as usual.
As to the decline in SP, no surprise given markets are down overall today and oil is dropping in price. Personally, continuing to hold as imo this will correct in due course. A lot of noise and no substance at the moment. Recommend a stay in the deep freeze until it's safe to come out again. Selling now would lock in losses that most holders will kick themselves for in a few months time.

It's the first time I have ever posted a strong buy on here. But there is no way this is not going to end up in profit down the line if common sense still has any value.
We're all bored and fed up with the rumour mill and speculation. As far as we know everything is on track, updates will be provided very shortly. Can we just slice through the nonsense and wait for news without adding to speculation?

I'm just repeating what DSPP posted, I don't make any judgment either way and am aware Carcosa has made long term contributions to TLF and all BBs (and Twitter!). Truth will out either way eventually, it always does.

Truth will out but right now there 's so much smoke and mirrors from so many different quarters it's not possible, imo, to be 100%. Have to agree with Daltry - RNS - everything else is fiction (though I also give JAdam the benefit of the doubt fwiw).

DSPP is just following a line of reasoning that may or may not have legs based on some information he was given by another poster, he says, Carcosa. The whole thing's been whipped up into a frenzy and no one is really any the wiser for it. Answers will come, eventually.
