What an awful site. Even the pictures they have used of the artists look low res copied from another site. The lady gaga content is some animated guff with the song as a backing track. No, they're not miles ahead. They also have their attention divided with the Ceek coin for fundraising which, like the rest of the crypto market, is not doing so well currently. Crypto will have a place in the music industry as well as for pretty much anything where content is consumed (microtransactions) but it won't be this outfit. IMO it'll be Scooter Braun who cracks it, or Kobalt. Not Ceek lol.

Optimist, yes it will definitely add to the immersion. One thing Ive been interested in has been the development of tech to increase the resolution of the image depending on where you are looking. This can be done with headset positioning currently and they're working on eye direction. This is an important step as it significantly reduces the load on whatever GPU is being utilized and enables crisper imaging where it is needed most. Indeed John McCarmack of Oculus recently uploaded a free mini movie that shows how this can be done. You can watch it on the Go for free. If you move your headset quickly, there is still a little lag and so you can see the image get crisper. No doubt with quicker internet speeds & 5g this will improve but I am too looking forward to higher resolutions. I've been into VR since the release of the Rift. I only ever use the Go now. It's way more consumer friendly and is simply more comfortable even without the IPD adjuster.

What I can say about NextVR is that their first live streaming event - which was a ballet show, froze after 3 seconds for me, continuously. All my other apps were running faultlessly at the time, inc MVR's.

Having seen that I was very, very concerned that we would have similar issues but we all saw it was smooth. I tempted fate and gave the jump spots a good workout too. The jumps were quicker than the pre-recorded content, less than a second.

He won't be able to because it's complete tosh. Every bit of feedback I've seen has been positive. BA at the concert did you get a chance to see the cameras? They looked larger than what we've seen so far .
