Optimist, the new app is clearly for the new Quest headset. It's all in the RNS, or I'm not understanding what point you are making? They then go on to state that they MAY release onto other platforms. I take this to mean they will, after a period of exclusivity for Oculus, imo. No point arguing with the pessemists here. It was only a couple of weeks ago the new app was announced, plus the partnership with Kobalt. And yet nothing is happening according to some.

Q1 The more apps, the more appeal - pure economics

Q2 Not sure the software will be patented. Google "patent software." The software will be copyrighted. But it wont stop any developer making an app for a different platform.

SC it's all been recorded at 12k resolution. We really are waiting for the equipment tech and 5g. I've often wondered if there would be a market for the physical DVDs for this content to get round streaming limitations. There are headsets that display 2 x 4k already.

Bullet For My Valentine announced their show on 9th November was being filmed by us. If you go to their FB page there are reports 50 mobile phones were stolen that night! I wonder if our footage is assisting.

I tweeted MVR asking what had happened to Liam Paynes gig as it had been removed from the app, they kindly replied "Hey there! We will be launching the full show this month - the 3 tracks available were up for free as a taster until the whole performance was ready to share with you"

Good job. They seem to be releasing this one quickly.. It would be good to see a targetted email campaign for it as they must have collected thousands in connection with the competition.
