I have no problem with their website or app, but other than that, they are just a glorified call centre. I wanted to bed and isa some ARB recently, but when I asked them what the spread might be, they basically told me I'd get what I was given. I did the trades myself over a day and made about £800.

I also asked for advice on reclaiming Israeli withholding tax on PLUS500. They don't offer it as service and refused to even try to find out. I still don't know if I'm eligible for a reclaim, but as PLUS is Ftse250 stock, I'm guessing I'm not their only client who will be told to do one.

Don't forget, ARB isn't AIM :-)

Trigger, you are right about targets, but that requires something I've never had - self discipline.

However, after several years of mistakes, I think my portfolio actually does allow me to switch off my phone for a few months.....

Trigger, Satoshipay is what got my initial interest as the crypto / blockchain World is so promising, but now the Esport market looks to be highly lucrative and I think it could be the major driver behind the SP. It makes sense to diversify, so now BLU compliments my other holdings very nicely.

I don't set targets and probably wing it, but I've seen plenty of highly paid researchers get things wrong so I'm happy to carry on punting. I will admit to a few sleepless nights, even before this heatwave.

As for ARB, let's hope that Trek can arrange the £1 party next year:)

Trigger and Duke, I'm also a fellow ARB fan, but I've been in Blu for 3 years, so felt pretty blue until recently. I averaged down a few months ago, so I'm now only 35% down on my 5 million shares.

Very much better prospects now, so fully expect to be in the black by Christmas.

I've got a chunk of SNG and Plus, so looking like a very decent year all round.

Torham, thanks for this. You may be aware that I hold just over 1% of the company, but it seems that the group involved in these calls are more than capable of representing the rest of us PIs. Apart from the points you have highlighted today, the most significant factor for me is that PW is prepared to engage in this way. We've all seen some very dubious characters running these smaller companies....

While many holders have different views on some topics, l feel very comfortable that board make solid decisions and the company will continue it's progress.

Bitethebull. Spot on. It always seems hypocritical when BB posters who are happy to day trade etc moan about MMs playing the game. I try to just invest for the long run and therefore try to ignore the daily shenanigans.

I don't always manage it though!

I said that I wouldn't sell a bean until next year, but I did sell 250k in early July. However, I used the funds to top up my SNG holding. Not a bad month really!

Chester, MMs can pass shares, but it's still a trade. However, it's pretty unlikely that a market maker would have that many shares on the book. It seems more likely that the there are two large client trades, but as yet only one has been recorded.

It seems rather odd that a trade of that size hasn't affected the price.

I use Hargreaves and they credited my account with the dividend yesterday.

We've established that there are some different views on the way forward, but there's no point chucking abuse about. Please can we get back to a civilised BB, unlike many others?

They may have been 7p a year ago, but the placings since then have significantly diluted this. Obviously the resultant funding put TOM in a better position, but let's not get too carried away.

Sam, judging from your 4,000 plus posts, you know these boards are full of knobheads and the occasional wise, sane post. Bank your profit and enjoy a pint or two with it. This may fly, or may just as easily collapse. You've done the right thing for you mate.
