Raharh, every trade is driven by a decision made by the client. They either buy from or sell to a market maker. The MM will try to stay flat, by encouraging another client to buy from or sell to him. If every client wants to buy, he has to keep raising his price until he attracts sellers and vice versa, so it really matters...

That's my point, you can't. I'm in quite a few stocks and this crops up all the time.
It's always annoyed me that so many trades are reported late, some because a trader forgot to book it, but some because they chose not too and maybe deliberately try to confuse....

Limping, I'm inclined to ignore all of these numbers.
Common sense suggests that if there are more buys than sells, the price will go up. How often do you see the opposite.
Also, the more volatile the price is during the day, the more this "middle price" algorithm will be incorrect.

Sorry to spoil the party, but these are not all buys. They are simply late reported trades. There is no buy/sell marker when the trades turn up, so this site simply looks at the mid price and then assumes if the trade price is above the mid price, it must be a purchase.

A small spread should mean liquidity, but it also depends how many you can actually buy or sell.

The US investors are comparing these numbers to the other miners, taking into account the total MCAP and seeing huge value in ARB.

Zengha, these options and warrants were awarded when the company started up. If you researched properly in the first place, you would know these were out there.
The massive plus is that they would not have been exercised unless the company performed, which is has!!!
