Don't think the government is spending money on tests, they already have that and they seem to think 2 days or more is fine. What they probably are spending money on is to give money to firms to find a vaccine, albeit that could take a long time. Wuhan cases where the virus started has dropped to zero now, why do you think that is and are countries taking advice from them? The answer is probably not and why the the cases have dropped to zero? Have you seen they are disinfecting the streets and air, obviously had a beneficial effect. Can't say that I've seen the same in Italy.

Different because you can get a flu jab. With cv no vaccine on the horizon for 1/2 years and flu is mostly seasonal, cv nobody knows how bad it can get as it's a new virus, could be more deadly in the long run and might not be seasonal.

Yes ES's failure at Superdry was well documented as was his failure at the Co-op. Quite surprising he ended up here but as Saga were well in debt they might not have had many takers for the job. ES is a scot and as such you would think he would be canny and savvy but doesn't appear to be the case. At Superdry it was well known that he liked to take jollies when he he should have been in the UK sorting out the stores. As a man he is imposing and not connective, my son goes to the same private school as his son and on parents evening he struck me as a loner, not communitave to anyone.
Whether in the long term he succeeds here is a wild guess but I said earlier if CV can be brought under control and he can reduce debt more then there is hope, medium to long term hold.

Well Saga's light has somewhat dimmed since ES arrived even though debt has been reduced. My guess is he's in the last chance saloon here after his last two firms. Saga is generally a good brand, it's just unfortunate about CV at a time when the company needed restructuring. If, (big if!) CV can be brought under under control then there is an upside here but it's 1/2 years at least.

It always amazes me about derampers, they must sit there at 6.59am waiting for the rns's to load at 7am, trawl through them and think in their tiny little minds "who can I upset today with some rough info which they'll believe". Well Wh0sthedaddy is one of those, probably now sitting in his little flat with a couple of hundred in his share account after losing thousands and thinking all sorts. We all have them on every biard, thinking what they spout everyone will believe. Angs is what it is, so will gradually recover and by this time next year the sp will look much different, it's a slow process but the dots are joining together at last, GL all!
