I'm a technical trader so can't help you much with detailed fundamentals. However, I don't look at director buys and sells because a company should be good on it's own without the directors, the insiders, influencing it with share purchases. Sure it can be a guide, but it's only a minor factor in my book, and it's usually flagged by other analysts when I do my research. Good luck with the club though. PS: From a technical perspective, GMS has come out of it's downtrend after forming a rough cup and (long) handle reversal pattern between July and Dec 2016. The leg in the last few days is the first of the breakout, so in my book there will be more to come and it's not too late to buy.

STAFF has been in a shallow ascending triangle since Oct last year. Resistance at 772p and then 800p at its worst. Today's increase also takes it outside another much bigger downtrend line, and if it can break 926p it could break to the upside. The last trading update was positive and along with good technical indicators on RSI, rising, and MACD, cross over and moving positive, this share looks like a buy.

No need. Pullback is to be expected and the next leg up will come in a few weeks, if the breakout continues.

1m+ volume today, with no significant change in price. The price has been ranging since 2014 and recently the range's upper resistance has moved from 174p down to 168p. This share is for dividend only as there's limited capital growth and shareholder value on offer. PS: Goes ex-dividend on 12th January

I say 110p because I use Fibonacci levels and it was old support in April, August and September 2015. Then it became resistance in Nov/Dec 2015. In my analysis that's a strong level to break.

Now needs to break 106p, the last swing high, for it to really move on. Heading towards its 200 EMA at 124p, but that will take some time and it needs to pass 110p resistance first. #bullish PS: On the downside, today's rise was not accompanied by high volume so I'm not fully convinced this will fly. To make it a stronger rise we need to see 500k to 700k shares being traded per day.

And another rise today, all backed up by good trading volumes. This is the perfect breakout a trader should be looking for. Last week was a huge bullish candle from 51p to 66p indicating a change in the trend. It easily went past 59p, the last swing-high/resistance, and is on its way to 83p after the 70p target has been hit. At the moment it is looking oversold, but a short pullback will address that. It's to be expected.

A new 143p low today is a new 52 week low and is bearish. Since Feb 2016 and Dec 2016 the share price was holding up until the 9th Dec when we knew about draft changes to Polish consumer credit law. Now today sees a £20m issue which is not even going to be registered in the accounts. That's bad accounting practice and leaves a £20m surprise (either way) once the case is concluded. So for me, buying today would be insane as this business has 2 unresolved risk events to work out.

Speculative buys in the last 2 days have pushed CRAW upto 26p. But today's new shows the real market reaction. Crawshaw is not out of the woods yet and along with news from companies like Next and M&S, the UK retail sector might be a little depressed for some time before it gets back into favour. My advice to anyone who's speculating on Crawshaw and others, is use a stop loss when you trade so you don't have to hold shares at a big loss for a long time. That way your capital can be employed elsewhere as there's always profitable opportunities throughout the market.

Today's rise makes the breakout even more convincing. It's also backed by a lot of volume in the last few days. Next target 70p and then 82p. GLA Other factors: Must have a pullback as RSI on the daily is 87, but that's not material to its overall prospects. Formed a rough H&S reversal pattern which is being confirmed now.

You might see 6.5p soon as the ask on IG is 7p

Today Berenberg said hold Next shares with a revised target of £40. They must have been speaking to only those shareholders who bought in before Dec 2012, 4 years ago!. Otherwise almost all buys since then were over £40 and holders would be making a loss. During all of 2015, the price hovered between £70 and £80 so some might be nursing a large loss unless they used a stop loss to exit their position. At present Next is a falling knife and buying in now would be calling the bottom too soon. GLA

Peaked at 1577p on 3rd Jan, and is now pulling back. It's heading into some strong support at around 1520p. Next few days will show whether it rebounds for another leg to the upside. #bullish

A comfortable break out closing above its 200 EMA in the last 3 days. Also nicely over the last swing high of 55p in October. #bullish

4th retest of its 200EMA since Nov 2016. Should break to the upside this time. Wait and see. #bullish

I've seen a new development in North Manchester and it has been 50% sold. So half full half empty. I think their concept is very good, but it can be costly over time due to the monthly fees. However, if people are trading down to a flat from a larger property and do their sums then it can be a comfortable place to live, with the often mentioned "peace of mind". They also don't have lots of competitors. Today's price is attractive and Deutsche bank now rate it as a buy. Resistance is at 151p and it looks to be heading North. At best it should reach 220p if all goes well. #buy

Although I like Debenhams, the price in the last 2 days has shown weakness and looks like it's heading towards 51p. However, 51p is a support level, although this is the 3rd re-test which may mean it will break to new lows before it goes higher.

Seems a good rise, but it's speculation as opposed to trading on substantive news. If they have a good Christmas and show they are really turning the ship around then I'd consider buying.

Vesuvius is forming a perfect bullish flag pattern, which started in mid November. Good entry point to go long.
