Agreed. Very good results today. Some selling after a 1060p close last night, but the performance should mean the price will move ahead in the coming months.

STAF is making a beautiful bullish flag pattern. Can it hold for the next leg up?

Now on its 9th test of the 200 daily EMA. It's definitely ready to move higher, but needs a little news/event to push it above 132p and beyond.

For me there was good support after today's unexpected news. So now we have a gap down and today's candle which looks almost like a hanging man. That would need confirmation the price was heading lower, so the next few days are important. Lamprell took support from its 50 day EMA at 91.37p and needs to break below 87p before the uptrend which started in September is over. GLA

Price rise today must be takeover related, as they announced an interest in December last year.

Positive and well received by the market. However, there's been immediate profit taking as it reached 38.50p and is now just below 36p, which is also its last swing high of 36p in Nov 2015. Good volume though. Finncap seem confident as it upped their target today from 35p to 40p.

Up today, but I noticed there were 2 sells of £3m each at 11am this morning at £1 per share. After 11am the price rose to 105p. Technically, it broke out of an ascending triangle on 9th Dec 2015. At the moment it might form another ascending triangle (TBA) but is definitely in a clear bull trend. However, MACD and RSI are trending downwards, and that divergence tells me to avoid buying at this stage.

The spread is 33% at the moment. No way I'd consider buying at 16p ask and 12p bid.

Never too late to buy as it's still not broken its 285p high from last June.

Just noticed that other recruiters e.g. Robert Walters and Gattaca are also in demand alongside Staffline.

We all have our trading styles. Some go head first into the deep end. I'm a bit more cautious and like more indicators to line up before I commit. But you can't argue with today's rise.

I like the look of this share, although I can't see a bottom yet. So I'm not a buyer despite today's significant rise. Reasons: 1) The price has not risen enough to confirm it's out of it's downtrend which started last February 2) There were 2 big £1.4m sales today at 12:41 If they are liquidating why? 3) This share has been effected post Brexit and will still be open to more falls if the UK recruitment market weakens. 4) Their share price post Brexit has not recovered enough to demonstrate it's resilient to the subsequent changes. 5) Finally their currency gains make their financial performance look good. However, it's underlying performance that counts and that's not growing strongly. 6) 291p was previous support in July and November. That could act as resistance despite today's rise. I'd welcome other views, especially counter arguments, and am always willing to change my mind.

Still not sure whether it will break the 200 EMA but as it's the 7th time since 10th November, it's inevitable it will go higher. Unless... Next target if it does is 136p, then 146p.

In June/July 2016 STAFF's share price fell to a low of 728p because of Brexit concerns. To reflect that, in July 2016, Finncap reduced their target from 1700p to 1615p and it has not changed it since. For me that doesn't reflect the trend. 1100p however, seems more realistic given STAFF's current price although Brexit has a long long way to play out. GLA - Price now +50p on the day

Convincing breakout in the last few days, but it still needs to break 1087p and then 1200p to make real progress. At 9:45am it's gone to 982p and crossed over its daily 200 EMA. Onward and definitely upward.

It was 924p when I wrote my last post a few minutes ago, and now is 937p. An end of week spurt.

It's now moving ahead, and on the weekly we have some bullish indications: a rising RSI a MACD which has crossed back in November a price which is above the 21 EMA and 200 EMA a price which as moved from 817p to 924p in 2 weeks backed by good volume
