Was looking at the currency situation at the moment, which is excellent for ITX as we sell into Europe/uK in Euros and pounds as advised by John.

Just that we have to consider the potential of us being bought out at some point and was looking at the strength of these currencies, we are very cheap.

Not meant to be ranty, but as a society we need to try our best

I am sorry to hear that you have “given up on green” I think that if you researched the range of products that Itaconix (and other green suppliers) manufacture, then you would find that they supply ingredients to brands across the price spectrum, also I find that there are many bargains on Tesco clubcard deals (other discount cards are available), stockpiling when deals are available makes a huge difference.

Is it any wonder our rivers in the UK are so polluted, turning green and full of harsh chemicals, which in turn are having a detrimental effect on our rivers ecosystems as a whole, affecting fish stocks, general habitats that rely on clean water to survive, bathers etc , these chemicals that are being washed down our drains via these so called cheaper products, are to blame (along with those who are happy to prosper by them), what is the cost to our eco-system, can we put a price on that, if a few pence here and there has a positive effect on this, then I would suggest that it is well worth it, in my opinion, not to be so short sighted, I am sure that the generations to come would thank us for being a bit more caring?

Another strong point at the moment is the exchange rate

GBP/USD circa 1.36

EUR/USD circa 1.14

Lets hope they are converting at these sorts of rates, worth a couple of percentage points on GPM

As far as I am aware these ingredients will have been produced by ITX and either supplied directly or via the many specialty suppliers of chemicals around the world who offer access (independent chemical corporation, specialchem etc), Croda as far as I am aware mainly market under the Zinador brand and have their own customer base.

Can anyone else confirm, but this is my understanding.
