RE: QUESTIONS FOR ITX HALF YEAR PRESENTATION31 Jul 2025 08:54
Hi E
There are a few to start with, probably best to rank them in importance before sending off to John once all are submitted and collated?
1) What sort of timescales are we looking at for the next addition to the Bi0-Asterix product range? How has the initial response been to the e-commerce site?
2) Can you advise on where we are as regards staffing and filling of the current positions being advertised please?
3) In the last presentation one of the slides showed a picture of a tube of toothpaste, can you advise on the significance of this please?
4) In the last presentation you talked about the current superabsorbent ingredient we have available and with is being comparable to other ingredients out there in the market place as regards performance, but cost was an issue, can you elaborate on why it is so more costly and are you looking at ways of remedying this? (scale up, production under licence etc)
5) You advised there would be regular updates on SPARKS progress, thus far we have not heard anything on this, can you advise please?
6) Any updates on sustainable fashion
7) Itaconix was a project partner in a funded grant looking into
New Branched Polymers Excipients and Emulsions for Enhanced Drug Delivery
Project Partners:
Clinton Health Access Initiative CHAI Itaconix (UK) Limited Medicines Patent Pool

Can you advise on this and if there are any potential future commercial advantages to this research or any further progress in this area?
8) The new product Zinador 35D, is this now readily available from Croda? As currently nothing showing on their website to show it can be purchased?
9) Can you advise on what impact the following will have on demands for ITX ingredients/Increased revenue streams in 2026
From June 13 to June 20, 2025, 8 new cosmetic ingredients were notified with the China National Medical Products Administration (NMPA).
Notification 20250070
Sodium polyitaconate is submitted by Itaconix Corporation.
The time it takes to get a New Cosmetic Ingredient (NCI) approved in China varies, but it's generally a multi-step process. For high-risk ingredients (like preservatives, UV filters, colorants, and hair dyes), registration with the NMPA can take up to 128 working days. Low-risk ingredients only require notification, which is completed upon submission of documents. After registration or notification, a three-year safety monitoring period begins, and the ingredient will be added to the IECIC list after that period if no safety issues are found,
I am sure that breakeven and profit timescales should also be added.
