Sorry Ghoti,
just wanted to add something to your post regarding "Future Value" but seemed the topic had evolved into something different. Nothing wrong with that but it seemed prudent to hit the restart button. I can see that everyone would like to know for sure what we have here in relation to assets and therefor, value, but we will continue, for some time, to be kept guessing!
I just wanted to add a quote from the UK Investor Magazine:
"One must not discount Kodal’s gold projects as they provide the necessary diversification to reduce the risk"
So, there is more to consider when discussing future value. Just making the point, again. Looking forward to the days ahead!
All best wishes, AJ
Now come on, lets have a go at interpreting what BA is saying in the latest twitter photo:
https://twitter.com/KodalMinerals/status/1484126149986983939/photo/1
I reckon it's something like: "surely we are supposed to be looking at that area over there?"
Answers on a postcard please!
Hi, I'll be extremely surprised if we hear anything this week. I'm still waiting for a response from the Email I sent regarding the "Initiation Statement" just a few lifetimes ago! Still, it's not like I can influence anything (unless BA is reading these posts). I can acknowledge that my expectations can be beyond what is reasonable. So, I wait! Come good in the end.
Hi Both,
Things are looking increasingly positive for KOD and I have no concerns at this time surrounding any issues regarding matters relating to environmental issues as Asl pointed out with bats. We need to consider protecting species on a global level and, as I work with Masters Students engaging in their dissertations, there are generally protocols in place to get around issues of this nature. For example, translocation, local habitat restoration and transformation, and temporal adjustments to accommodate the needs of both parties (animals and humans). Failing that, it is not unknown to drive a truck over the invading protected species if the money is deemed more important! Wonder what Batman would make of it?
Yes Daz,
I jumped the gun on that question. I concluded that he has been compelled to go to Bougouni to gather more info to shore up KOD's position. Updated Pre feasibility study (PFS) definitely needs to come out first to confirm what is at stake followed by a Definitive Feasibility Study (DFS). So, with that, Is it likely they are now working on this? Not thinking that Indicated and Inferred resources, which are still being clarified are below par. I would also like to offer the following:
https://hjsolicitors.co.uk/article/heads-of-terms-and-letters-of-intent/
as to where we might be in the grand scheme of things. It's generic but offers a rough pathway to Joint Ventures. Assuming that is where we are heading.
Finally, then, what do you think BA et al is doing in Mali when (at least, I was thinking) he was sitting round a table continuing negotiations and awaiting drilling results? Not expecting you to say anything other than your speculation (as much respected as your factual input). All best wishes, AJ
Hi Daz,
Could you say anything about the timeframe between sending and receiving a message from Suzie at KOD? I'd also be interested from anyone else who has sent messages, and received them in relation to the time you waited. Look forward to your reply.
AJ
Sorry Ledge123, I have had to report you for being nice!!!!! As with Daz, I don't want to be credited with knowing a whole lot and, those that do, don't say as much as I would like to hear and I don't want to get into the why's and wherefores about it. It is absolutely fantastic when anyone can put up a post that gives food for thought or perhaps just a signpost to where others might look to gain a better insight into the intricacies of investing, in particular the sector you are interested in. That, to me, is what these chat boards are, or should be, all about. All best wishes, AJ
Evening,
We hold a number of potential projects in the gold sector and I am still trying to understand why! I suppose that, if there is some tier two potential, Fatou can give a significant amount of leverage regarding company value. I favour Daz's assertion that any developments are some way off, but, who can say what is happening in the background with respect to BA and co and who they're speaking to on those matters? Hold for Spodumene is my assertion, if you can. Just about a third of the way through January so, let's see how we go! All best wishes, AJ
Well, I am back at it, again. I have just sent the following to KOD and we'll see if we get a reply that gives some rationale to broker ratings (In this case I have asked about an "initiation piece", the first broker rating).
I would like to enquire about KOD broker ratings. I am trying to understand how this works and have sent emails to spangel but not had a response. ""Could you say anything about when or under what circumstances an "Initiation Piece" might be presented? The subject has been discussed on the LSE BB and I suggested that I would try this avenue if I hadn't been contacted by the broker by this time. Many thanks for your consideration of this matter and I look forward to your reply, which I will share on the LSE BB.
All best wishes,"
I'll copy and paste any response as soon as I get it.
AJ
Morning all,
I can see that we are getting an increase in "golden ticket" mania and insult swapping and it is a bit sad. The reason I have enjoyed this BB is that it has been quite focused on KOD developments and so it is a useful medium for knowledge sharing and sensible deliberation. If it continues to take a downward spiral I'll filter myself and just not bother to engage. Mental health not great already and I can personally do without any additional stresses in my life.
All best wishes, AJ
Hi Daz,
I'm an ex coal miner and haven't done any basic geology since 1984! I do know that the process of refining Spodumene is easier than extraction from brine sources. I just wanted to highlight the aforementioned statement regarding who will cross the line first into production due to it being an update on the KOD website which is still woefully lacking in up to date information. This seems to be an update from the original by comparison to most information on the site. I did mention to them that it could do with a bit of a "spring clean" so, hopefully, due around mid April!
Seemed to me that they wouldn't put that up without thinking they could give FFX a run for its money?
All best wishes, AJ
Hi Daz,
just wanted to mention something that came up earlier with our discussion that we were behind FFX in Mali Spodumene mining. But, I went back to the KOD website and the potential for catching up might be within this statement taken from the Bougouni project page:
"Kodal is nhttps://www.lse.co.uk/ShareChat.asp?ShareTicker=AEX&share=Aminex&thread=EB9AECA3-8DDA-43B9-B9A6-EE622BDE552Dow planning the construction phase of the project and is confident of achieving support to finance the project, which has the potential to be the first lithium mine in Mali"
https://kodalminerals.com/project/bougouni-lithium-project/
Just thinking that we might be behind in some aspects and yet ahead in others? Seems they are still not keeping their website very tidy, although it does mention the license being granted!
All very best wishes, AJ
