I wouldn't be surprised that we have more than has been disclosed by BA, formally, as the last post, I am aware of, was in relation to LIDAR (used for mapping) and this, to me, suggests that they are planning the layout of the mine infrastructure etc. So, how, if I am on the right track, would this affect the news that will be presented in terms of a timeframe? Would you plan to work out this aspect of the mine if you didn't already know you were going to fly? Not trying to ramp, he could be a very good blagger too! I think he needs to give a very positive message after the issues with drilling over artisanal works and losing valuable results.

Yes, I think John Meyer knows his onions! Bit of a scrambled mess we are in at the moment though and I conclude that any information received at present has to be taken with a pinch of salt due to everything that is going on so, Pineapple, Onions and salt, scrambled, makes for an unusual recipe! Worth a watch throughout and thanks for posting.

Hi Daz, yes, that's why I get vexed when the question of the Sp and future value keeps popping up. If we knew that then so would everyone else! Just got to keep twiddling thumbs until BA releases something tangible via RNS feeds. I notice that the share price is actually posted as being below the bid price on here!!

More to do with impatience and people selling and moving on as I see it. This share price looks good to me and I wish I had a few quid more to throw in. The price will bounce around as it cannot be fixed with the information currently available. Let's see what the next few weeks bring in via RNS feeds

Mali might be one of the safest places on earth the way Putin is going! I think people will begin to focus on here a little more now that we are at the end of the month. No speculation on my part as to when we might get news but every day brings it one day closer.

I would say that Daz has put together numerous posts on here regarding his research into KOD and he is well respected for it. There is nothing more to say, other than speculation, until we get more information posted via RNS feeds. Unless, of course, you know something that has passed everyone else by? And, if that is the case, I would be very interested to read it.

Yes it would be more in depth (SWOT) but it depends on who you are presenting the analysis to. In relation to the Weakness, I can't get away from BA at the moment; I have advocated for him many times on this board. I think he needs to step up, right now, and get S.M.A.R.T with his delivery of news and say so in person. In relation to the strengths, I would say that it is quite obvious; low market cap and sitting on a "must have" product. Threat is political instability, though the new armies waiting to move in should quell that concern. Opportunities could be massive if BA can deliver the AU and LI start ups and give confidence to the government that he can run an honest project. There might well be more to explore in "The Long Run" (no intentional reference to the Eagles band). Anyway, we sit and wait. Have a good night. AJ

I agree that there were expectations regarding RNS feeds at end of January and I said previously that I felt this was due to the way BA delivered at the Q&A and the interpretation of what he was saying. Luckily, others who are better at understanding what they are hearing made us aware that we were not that far advanced. Try to do that without being accused of deramping!
I guess some disappointment is to be expected as things get hyped up and if the hype isn't met, it is a failure. On the back of that, the share price was looking positive and it seems, to me, that the RNS, or the interpretation of the RNS was the reason it pulled back again.
So, now I am content to resume my holding pattern until we get more updates. And, thank you for your review of preceding events and giving clarity to the current situation. All best wishes, AJ

Having problems with my imagination of you in the backless number I described earlier Roxanne! I wanted to add that the strategy in dealing with the drilling over artisanal workings had already been answered. To repeat what I copied and I draw attention to the latter part of the final sentence:-
"“Unfortunately, several of the drill holes in this initial programme were not able to reach target depth due to issues with the artisanal workings and drilling problems. The next stage of drilling will focus on strike extensions of the mineralised structures away from the workings and historical drilling."
