The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Apologies Roxanne,
"“Unfortunately, several of the drill holes in this initial programme were not able to reach target depth due to issues with the artisanal workings and drilling problems. The next stage of drilling will focus on strike extensions of the mineralised structures away from the workings and historical drilling."
I have had a response from Suzie!
"Many thanks for your email and I do apologise for the delay in responding.
I have raised this with the company and I know that they are discussing updated research with the Company’s broker. Once this is published, it will be available on the Research Tree platform (do you have access to this)?
Best
Susie"
And I am so, demented through long Covid that I didn't know that id did! But, I do! So, this is the place to look periodically but then we might see any developments via other sources as they are made public. Sorry it's not as much as I hoped to offer but, then again, it isn't an RNS! :)
Hi Roxanne,
Fair summary in light of the fact that the RNS wasn't adding any stimulus regarding progress of Fatou due to drilling issues and there needs to be some information about how they plan to deal with this in future drilling campaigns. I'm still happy with my modest holding with KOD (although still in the red). Would you like to have a quid bet on whether BA will go on camera and bleat about the RNS? On a more SERIOUS note, could you please present your next update wearing a black backless number that finishes just above the knee? And a string of your grandmothers pearls will finish the job nicely! Sweet dreams, AJ
Hi All,
I'm thinking we have more to come re RNS feeds. With that, I would rather have the mundane stuff first and save the best till last. Responses to the twitter have been quite negative but, I believe, this is due to a communication issue leading to holders (not bystanders necessarily) thinking the news was imminent at the start of February. When, as I now interpret it (due to some diligent members of this chat board), the DATA, RESULTS were going to arrive at that time. So, BA tongue-tied, or me deaf as a post or too thick to understand? It would be most favourable if the KOD team could get with it and clarify where we are right now. I'm still keeping the faith even though it has been tested. Stay in or move on but I never, personally, felt it was going to the moon, or whatever phrase you might want to attach to the megabuck ideology if that is what motivated you to join the party. All best wishes, AJ
Hi Picardy9,
The question was asked of BA (recent Q&A) about going it alone as opposed to a JV and, as I remember, he said he wouldn't discount the idea but suggested that it wasn't a strategy he was pursuing. But, if we get some significant results from any of the six gold prospects, that could, potentially, give some momentum to the prospects described, above. Interesting few weeks ahead!
Hi Picardy9,
I recently posted a comment saying "Would be nice to see an increase in the Au resource estimate at Fatou! BA has said he is keen on Dabakala! Neille has some interesting results including 2m at 11.63 g/t and just 10m beneath the surface! And, what of the others? Looking forward to the news." The consensus at the time (recently) was that we were in it for the Li, but I maintain that the fact that KOD is spreading its net wider than one prospect, it gives additional value and lowers risk. BA has it all to do here and I hope he can deliver for himself and those of us that have placed our money on the roulette wheel! Still confident that I am sitting at the right table, pass the salt! All best wishes, AJ
Hi Share,
KOD do have subsidiaries. We have the License and, that's all we know until we get the next round/s of RNS feeds. If there were any barriers to progress re Mali Government and progress then the KOD board would be obliged to inform share holders. The antiquated Kodal Minerals website has details: https://kodalminerals.com/the-company/focus-strategy/
for bedtime reading!
Night night, AJ
EyeGuy,
Each to his own but I have to say, Daz is well respected on this BB and I personally feel he does endeavour to keep his views on a level pegging. I hope all those invested are suitably rewarded and don't find themselves being manipulated into buying or selling based on what is being put to print on this chat board. I would say that Daz has earned the respect he commands on here and I would urge any, particularly new, investors to be careful when anyone (regardless of the comments) comes to "tell it like it is". All best wishes for your investment in KOD, AJ
Hi Daz,
Very nice round up! Now, what do YOU THINK about the retweet? Possible return to negotiations from Gangfeng? Or, is BA using the system to manoeuvre KOD into the spotlight for other contenders?
All best wishes, AJ
Hi Pennypot,
Interesting read. I think that it might change the dynamic somewhat if more countries nationalise their assets. Thing is, some countries would struggle to realise the potential if they don't have the money to invest or the expertise to progress their assets. I think this might have the potential to play into KOD's hands if companies like Gangfeng are in a hurry to scoop up deals as they will potentially focus more on those countries like Mali (currently) who seem to be more ready to take a back seat in any developments. Interesting that KOD retweeted this article. Is there a subliminal message in this?
Yes, we are talking about a longer timeframe. The point is, for me, that we have a large portfolio but there needs to be a methodical approach as to what will happen with them. So, first, we need to know if there is any potential value that, at least might, attract more attention from companies who would consider a buy out or JV. With that, it can continue to de-risk the company as a whole due to there being more than one project that can deliver value.
Would be nice to see an increase in the Au resource estimate at Fatou! BA has said he is keen on Dabakala! Neille has some interesting results including 2m at 11.63 g/t and just 10m beneath the surface! And, what of the others? Looking forward to the news.
I know it's all about the lithium, but, for those that aren't looking across the prospects for increased value, look at the other sweeteners that BA hasn't altogether forgotten about:-

Historical, but wait for updates on the Au, as they give additional credibility to the company at this sage of development.
Six Nations, Woo hoo!!!
This is what BA had to say; memory refresher:-

Hi Judge,
I know there is more to do. I have to ask myself, why is BA sitting on all these nests? If one or two have a viable golden egg in them then, this can make a significant difference to Market Value and attract more investment. Just waiting to see what the latest results are and trying not to speculate about how much more significant it could prove to be. Looking forward to RNS feeds.
All best wishes, AJ
