Gordon Stein, CFO of CleanTech Lithium, explains why CTL acquired the 23 Laguna Verde licenses. Watch the video here.
What I can't get my head round is why peeps think a) there will be a bidding war and b) it will be in excess of £170?
Almost a year ago, the bidding war never materialised and the £170 bid got rejected. The 'improvement' in business since imo does not justify a sudden upturn in interest. All we have is MM continually having a moan and he may now be p--d off enough to let it go @ £170. Where are all those big whales (contracts) they keep talking about?
I feel for the LTH's but unless one has averaged down, I think there'll be lot of disenchanted folks. The Mancunian who declared his 2.8% on Friday will be laughing his way to the bank. That's life.
I am a holder, but will stay grounded.

Danni Hewson, financial analyst at AJ Bell, said THG’s leadership has ‘seemed to be spread too thin and lacked the kind of focus required to really turn around the company’s fortunes’.
THG chairman and ex-ITV boss Lord Allen said Gallemore had ‘effectively been undertaking two jobs to date’ but would now be able ‘to devote a singular focus to driving the operations of the group where his experience is invaluable’.
Anyone able to shed some light on what the 'road bans' relate to:
24th Feb rns:
"i3's Smoky 13-13-061-01W6 Lower Montney horizontal well at Simonette was spud on 4 February 2022. The well is currently drilling at a measured depth of 5,175m in this proven prolific oil-bearing interval. The well is approximately 975m from reaching a total depth (TD) of 6,150m, with the lateral section encountering high quality reservoir and exhibiting a consistently strong gas response throughout. The 13-13-061-01W6 well will reach TD within the week and is slated for completion once road bans have been lifted.
Noob,
Forgot to add, again as per today's rns,
Majid Shafiq, CEO of i3 Energy plc, commented:
"i3 is delighted to announce this potential farm-out which on completion will facilitate the drilling of an appraisal well on the Serenity oil field later this year"
Don't think we'll hear about the date for drill for some time yet. Too many hurdles to clear.
@Noob, Don't think I qualify for the title of the 'kind soul' you seek :0), but can offer the following answers, nothing that you couldn't have looked up from the past 3 RNS's!
I don't play the guessing game with valuation, but may be Tony can put some numbers up from his values past contributions.
The Farm-out RNS has the other answers for you (also check the EOG rns), as there are principal consdtions to be met before the JV gets the green light, none more so than EOG getting the approval for the placing from it's shareholders!
As for the monthly Div: This RNS re. March div should be repeated every month!

All the arguments presented in this thread FOR an rns seem logical and makes lack of one thus far a mystery. It is a pre-planned event and not necessarily reliant upon achieving a milestone. It is a PR exercise and putting some meat on the bones. Earlier I suggested a regurgitating of the 11th Feb rns, but seeing so many 4th 1/4 updates from numerous companies, surely I3E have a lot to crow about. May be, just may be there's a rabbit to pulled out at the last minute?! Whatever, holding tight!. GL all.
Nothing stopping them presenting slides based on the 11th Feb RNS. There was lot of ongoing activity reported in that Canadian update. Some of those drills will have progressed and rig(s) mobilised?
I agree though, an update would alert new investors and new floor for the SP.
FWIW and IMO, I think we will be suspended in the morning. Having a partner under strict rules down under would only transfer any 'leaks' related action over to us. The risk of any Unusually large trades (either way) is unlikely to be permitted and company must act. I am OK with this as come what may I was/am committed with ADV.....
GL all.
@ pjonesy
Evans is our man. Always on the ball!
Couple of 3 mills reported after hours (timed @ around 3:45), so I think the boosters are still on for tomorrow!
Just bumping this thread up guys, having responded to a reply I received else where.
Great day and missed all the afternoon fun. Delighted and look forward to the next few days.
GL all.
Thanks investacat. Been out most afternoon and missed all the fun it seems!. Your answer makes sense. I hadn't thought about waiting until TD to download all data and analyse. Also, seeing we are referring to 'matching prognosis' thought real time data analysis may be undertaken at this stage.
It was more a curiosity question as am not bothered if it adds a day or two in the grand scheme of things.
Not long now!
