I can not believe that there will be no leak (no pun intended). If we have reached TD and there's neem a number of shows along the way, the ground staff will have a reasonable knowledge/excitement and it would be difficult to contain it. So I wouldn't be surprised if there is some volume churn at TD whether Wire logging or DST has commenced. I'd welcome an rns to say TD reached. Clean up, WL and DST etc to follow and reported in due course. This is history making - 63 years!!
Thanks for the thread and sharing your collection of research links. Appreciated.
As for "please do hold if you have the stomach"... If anyone has held for this long, it would seem odd to then exit before the update. Each to their own and it would be understandable if some wished to top-slice/de-risk, but the fact that the SP has held well (now at near ATH), suggests most are holding tight. The optimism portrayed by DM is infectious and here's hoping he delivers the news to put himself and HE1 on the map!. GL.
Whilst I agree an rns can hit us any time and any material news MUST be reported as soon as.... imo, surely one can just as easily 'time it to suit' ?!. Further confirmatory tests for instance can be used as a 'genuine' reason. I am thinking that way in order that an RNS is release to suit both side of the pond?. You stand to peees a lot of people off on one side!
A plc needs to tread very carefully with their PR or their nomad will be on the case, pressured by the authorities. HE1 does need tighten up on things. If it had been an rns the nomad will have gone over it with a fine tooth combe. Personally I prefer not to read between the lines as peeps do with interviews, tweets and video's. Inflated expectations and disappoints often follow. Already I have seen some expecting an rns in the morning!....based on what?!... I'd welcome it of course!
Johnny, your decision and your interpretation. GL. It'd be respected if you don't now start a debate to justify your concerns ad infinitum. If you buy back in, be nice to know what alleviated those concerns. ...and FYI, whenever I have sold any of my shares I prefer to make a final statement and thru respect leave as 'friends'.
The tweet. Numerous interpretations already. But I saw it as a positive. They are progressing to TD, i.e., as of today, no more hiccups. Secondly, I also read it as a historical milestone. 63 years on, the exploration now nearing potentially a discovery. Some geologist have waited 63 years for some answers and He1 are due to reveal! GL.
The company has thus far delivered on everything and growing. Fundamentals are strong and well positioned. It's one of my long term investments, fortunately still in profit. Added a small amount this morning and can't believe managed to buy below what everyone was scrambling for only a fortnight ago!
Like a football manager will say, one match at a time. Focus on the here and now. They may have a team working on the logistics re. the 2nd site. In simple terms, is it not a case of concrete foundation for the rig and mobile living quarters and have deliveroo lined up for food?!
Besides there's great focus on the current 'must drill' location, internally and the investment world + politics. There's lot to be digested from this experience before moving on.
I think it's down to where the company is headquartered. I am in another company with dual listing (AIM + Toronto), all regular rns's were circa 7:00 AM UK time. Of course event based rns's need to be times at the earliest opportunity. Guess it will be UK time??.
As a side note Tanz is 2 hours ahead of us.
Not concerned about the large trades. All in the price. One day they appear as buys and 'someone's in the know' and the next day sells 'someone's in the know'!!
You have to remember some folks may have bought those at circa 6p and I wouldn't begrudge them for taking profits or top slicing. However, there are some only just taking a punt of that magnitude. ...even buying at a recent dip, 350K makes a fantastic return!
GL. Hope patience pays off.
