The Iberian Peninsular needs this, to get a head start on the Central and Eastern EU raw material supply and get a diverted flow of money to the area and additional parts of the value chain they otherwise wouldn't get if they can't bring the raw material soupply. The implications are huge.

Higher for starters....but it may well be defined by the lithium market, $800+ spod prices and it will be toppy, $600 and it will be lower end of the scale. So 15-20p (after some finance equity dilution - though with money in EU this should be lower than ave company outside of the EU alliance). Factor in things like increased licences, increased resource, part of refining.... 30p. I am going by assumption DFS will be $400m+

I do wonder what the evaluation period is for? If you confirm it fits the requirements already, what would yuo not have already looked at!? If it fit conformity then it should fulfill evaluation as any requirement for evaluation should be written into the conformity. I suspect it is to follow up on anything arising from the public, which again we hopefully have mitigated a lot.

SAVs only mistake was to take the 1st answered questions as given (i.e. not expecting a second roudn of questions) and sang like a canary about 20 days for APA to respond. Firstly, it was just hitting Xmas and pandemic went up a notch in Portugal so no way were they turnign that around in 20 days......then they asked more questions. SAV is not in control of this, to suggest otherwise is folly. Then to answer questions they proabbly had to do new studies or change the location of the processing plant for example, you can't fire a quick email back with the answers. And I would rather SAV pour over each question and answer it within an inch of its life to ensure to is accepted than a 'nay we'll sort that, nowt to worry about' flippant response. After they have submitted then the Portuguese in full lockdown ain't going to turn it around in 20 days, on top of this there are many things going on in the shadows in Portugal and EU regards the grand battery plan that this is all an intergral part of.
So yeah i'm ****sssed it has taken this long but not a SAV time issue that can be pinned on them. This EIA conformity is an enormous step.....at one time we didn't even need to do one, 3 years later and a load of work later we are here.....all because of ESG requirements changing. If we get the DIA in August we are home anmd dry, regardless of the days required for Environmental Title. Get past the public and this is a home run, Portugal needs it to be and I hope the hard work in getting it 'public friendly' has been done up front by APA and SAV.

You don't fire an email back with answers, you have to ingage the EIA team and perhaps even do some extra studies etc. all whilst in the middle of a lockdown pandemic. Both sets of questions as per the Reddit post have been answered and the ball is back in APA's court. We can't control how long they dither for, but know they are lining up when heck of an EV related industry......we are a very big piece in that jigsaw, so I presume they want the EIA all singing and dancing so it passes public and EU Paymaster's scrutiny. They need to look like they know what they are doing at APA and can be trusted with EU's money to build out mines to supply the Eu chain.

6000 I've read. So it is comprehensive, but will be complained about publicly as hard for them to understand or review easily. However, it is designed for scrutiny by the experts in country the APA, they are the ones that matter. Given the detail and ESG mitigation I'm not sure what some locals can say other than they just don't eant a mine, whereas APA will be saying they have passed all our tests and questions no reason they can't mine. Portugal wants the EV industry this is their best hand to get started. They can't pass the EIA if it has problems, I get that, but the kitchen sink has been thrown at this, if this can't pass the requirements doubt any will. So nit sure locals will have any new complaints that the APA has not made sure has been covered.
1. They have no local laws for protection
2. They do not have the last say.
Two things I am happy about.

1. MOZ solution
2. EIA, big event....due public consultation about now, APA has had all their answers
3. DFS which is likely to double the Scoping Study NPV. So I'll be looking north of $400m AFTER tax NPV as a minimum
4. Extra licence areas in Portugal

No one can predict prices, but I'd be very ****ed not to see 9p post DFS this year (we hit 15p on scoping study! albeit with less shares in issue, tough 2 years for lithium companies) and 15p post finance. 30p built (with extra licences being developed). I also see resource up to 45mt and mine life extended by another 10 years.
Piedmont is a billion dollar company and it is not even financed yet. Just hit 39Mt and will also be a chemical producer

It is not the Spanish Government but local Juncta. There is a local law over the land where the mine wants to be that forbids the action of mining. That law needs changed, of local Gov to give exception, but they won't. How they waited this long to overcome such a known problem is crazy. Maybe they hoped to woo them with the project economics that they couldn't do earlier. It is not an industrial or mining area.

Environmental licences are the golden tickets these days to Mining Licences and EISA is in the bag!

New President has been making waves re mining and business in the country and will be keen to get projects moving.

There was always a local land law that forbids mining for INF! Barmy they never resolved.
